Hi,
When I go to the Top Rated questions[^], then the questions on the first page aren't top rated.
Is it just me?

No it's not just you, I can't see what if any ordering that page is following

In my PPP, I have:
Writer | Tutor | Master | Novice | Browser | Custodian | Addict | 3,371 | 1,051 | 37,367 | 46 | 88 | 3,837 | 3,794 | Author | Authority | Debator | Editor | Enquirer | Organiser | Participant |
It seems to me that the titles are not all on the same level.
Writer | Tutor | Master | Novice | Browser | Custodian | Addict | ∧∨ | ∧ | ∨ | ∧ | ∧ | ∧ | ∨ | Author | Authority | Debator | Editor | Enquirer | Organiser | Participant |
I suggest putting the higher levels on the top row and the lower levels on the bottom row, unless this is all dynamic and my numbers reflect that.

|
|
|

I think you might have this misunderstood. As an Author your level is Writer and so on. The top item is the level and the bottom the category.

Thanks! I always assume the top is the category and the bottom is the level. But the Master Debator was obviously not so. In that case, I would make two other suggestions: 1) Change the font for category to bold; 2) Move category above and level at the bottom, with points in between.

Hi,
Here's an Idea which triggered me to come up with a Win Phone CodeProject App. As of now, I have a prototype of CodeProject App running on my mobile. There was one reason why I happened to create a mobile App for CodeProject, i.e The content which is getting rendered on desktop cannot be the same in mobile, What I mean is it's very difficult for one to scroll here and there and read articles which are displayed in small fonts in mobile. Although we can zoom-in or zoom-out,However a great trouble involved for one to read the content. There are several things one has to take into consideration while handling content for small devices. I was able to build one beta App and I'm planning to share with you all by means of Article + Sample Code.
I just have a quick question, Can I make use of the code project logo for this App from this URL - http://www.codeproject.com/Info/Stuff.aspx[^]? Are there any restrictions?
Please let me know your feedback at the earliest.
Thanks,
Ranjan.D

Sorry, I have been waiting for an answer from you guys 'The CodeProject Team'. Please let me know at the earliest so that I can share my code and article with you on CodeProject Win 8 Phone App.

We'll create a specific logo that you can use in your apps. The logos on that page are for linking to us, so we do need to be careful how they are used to ensure someone doesn't mistake your app for an official CodeProject product.

Hi there
I am wondering how codeproject searches articles? Does it use a crawler / indexing mechanism?
|
|
|
|
|
We are using Lucene.NET as our Search Index. I wrote a custom crawler which keeps the index current with a max delay of 10 minutes. I also had to write a custom Analyzer as a lot of technical and/or programming terms were being stripped out by the standard analyzers.
