I've noticed that if I browse to codeproject(tried ie and chrome).
The second menu "all topics, java c# etc..." is always randomly selected to something I really don't care about.
Shouldn't it always be "All articles"?
It's really annoying that I have to click all articles just to get the old style of news.
Oh I'm doing this as an unlogged user and it happens all the time...on more than one machine?
Is this by design and if so...what's the point?

Whenever you're reporting a bug, it's always worthwhile checking back a couple of pages just in case someone else has already reported it.

I'will make sure Pete O'Hanlon That's really a good practice too.

I got an error when trying to report a message in The Lounge: "Downvotes not allowed here."

It's not an error. Down votes are not allowed in the social forums. Have a read of the weekly newsletter to see why?

Trying to report, not trying to downvote.

I know. I was trying to report a message, but it failed because downvote is off.

I have upvoted the OP on the thread below in order to test his screen-jump report and I notice two things.#
1.) It doesn't show how many up-votes that paticular message has.
2.) It doesn't turn the message green.
I believe this is the same in GIT to.

When I vote on a message (click the up arrow), the screen jumps so that the message is at the very top of my screen. It's rather annoying.

Is this some clever scam to get upvotes?
Wish I had thought of it.

The arrow points upwards - what did you expect?
At least we got the voting back.
Do not force Chris M. to do further investigation. He might find another bug and then we got voting off again.

I believe I have found a plagiarized copy of an article posted on CP.

Has been plagiarized to: here[^]

I think it's the reverse. blog content is the plagiarized copy of CP article.
CP article was first posted on 2007 and on the blog it says Oct 2012.

I'm running Firefox 18. I don't seem to have the problem on Windows running FF, however, I do on Linux and this is a screenshot of it.
