Hello All,
It would be helpful if CP portal automatically accept that answer which OP has submitted by clicking "I solved it myself" button.
Currently we need to enter our own solution and then need to refresh the page then it "ACCEPT SOLUTION" button appear in our entered solution and then only we can accept it to mark question as "SOLVED"
Let me know if you think any flaws in this or it is against our CP portal process.
Hope this helps , If yes the accept the answer and vote it otherwise revert back with your queries

If you just clicked a button that says "I solved it myself", then no one will know how you solved it. Adding your solution and then marking it helps other people to find the answer when they come across a similar problem.
One of these days I'm going to think of a really clever signature.

Thanks for reply .My suggestion is to update that feature so that it will accept the answer when user submitted by clicking "I solved it myself" button and offcourse he has to give solutin details but when he hit submit then CP portal should accept this as solution without Op interaction.
Let me know if you need any clarification
Hope this helps , If yes the accept the answer and vote it otherwise revert back with your queries

I see a number of good Tip/Tricks from members. I personally believe they deserves a reward and need to be presented in Cast your vote! section.

I think this is an excellent idea.

This sounds like a great idea to me as well.

I agree with you. imho, Tips/Tricks deserve the same rating system as articles.

"What do humans depend on: words ! We're suspended in language: we can never say what's up: or, down. We must communicate experience and ideas, but in ways that do not become ambiguous, and lose objectivity.
For parallels to quantum theory: we must turn to psychology, or to paradoxes thinkers like Buddha and Lao Tzu illuminated, examining reality, as both observer, and actor, in human life's small-scale micro-cosmic drama."

Used to be that you had to add a reason when you voted with the buttons.

It's a good job I'm not dyslexic. Unibomb could have taken on a really bad meaning there.

On the "My Articles" > "Blog Feeds" page, the "Download Now" link is not working. The screen also says my blog has not been polled since 8:28 5 Jan '13...

Trying to view an article in IE8 doesn't seem to be working at the moment. Initially the article displays normally, but after a half second or so, everything collapses to a column about one and one-half inches wide in the center of the page (headers, side bar menu and footers stay ok. Looks OK in Firefox...
Actually, it looks as if the article is completely obscured by a microsoft ad in that 1-1/2 " column...more Metro crap.

Hi,
I saw that my article Speech recognition in C#[^] got two votes of 5, because I saw the last 2 messages in the forum. Normally, if I get a message in the forum of my article, I get a notification. But I didn't get 2 notifications, and I didn't get 2 emails. Is it just me?
In some cases, my signature will be longer than my message...

Check your settings. You can turn off various notifications in there.

I checked my settings. But I found no way to turn off notifications, so I found no way to turn on notifications.

Go to your settings[^] page. Select the Newsletters & Emails tab. There's a section for email notifications in there.

Yes, I know. But all check boxes are checked. And I think that has nothing to do with the notifications where I can go through the number with the red background on top of the page.
