The email from this message looked fine, but today's daily news was still a mix of background colors.

The pop-up on the report button to select Spam or Abuse is always under the button. If it is at the bottom of the page the pop-up cannot be seen.
It's a tad annoying with some of the long spam messages we've seen recently having to scroll down all the time. It interferes with my amazing spam blatting foo.

Hi,
If I'm looking correctly, tip Using enum to define a new enum[^] isn't included in todays newsletter.
This has also happened earlier with some of my articles, so am I doing something wrong (tagging etc?)
|
|
|
|

Tips aren't included in the weekly newsletter, if I'm not mistaken.
Can you please point me to which articles did not appear in the newsletter in the past?
Thanks,

At the time of the newsletter, I don't believe the tip had enough votes to show up in the newsletter. If you were to update it this week, though, it would show up in the updated section of the next newsletter.

Ok, that explains it. Does the same apply to the article which wasn't included earlier?
|
|
|
|

That is likely the case, yes. It could also be related to the tags you request for your newsletter (if you are having them sent to you). You must have one of the tags in the post correspond to a tag you've selected to show up in your newsletters.

Okay. Yes I have subscribed the newsletter and as far as I know, I have no filtering based on tags.
However, I must wonder is this really intended. The weekly newsletter includes the new posts from last week and if a tip is published for example on Sunday, it may not get any votes before newsletter publish. If it gets votes after that, it's not included in the next newsletter anymore since it's not published in the proper date range.
The way I see it, this would lead to a situation where tips and articles won't be informed via the newsletter at all (regardless if the article is good or bad...)
So is this really deliberate?
Best regards,
mika

I believe articles with 0 votes will also appear, to appease that possible Sunday condition.

But in that case that condition should've been fulfilled
Well, hopefully the next ones will be informed

I'd be happy to help. Can you please email me the article and code in a .rar, or renamed .zip (ie .notzip) file?
Thanks,

Chris,
When I sign into RA, I get; "Account verified, but expected account details not found on RootAdmin" appear on the login/register page.
When you get a moment tomorrow can you take a look please. No rush.
Cheers,

On a somewhat (un)related note:
If I try to log in, RA syncs my settings from CP, and it says the user name is already taken. I signed up for RootAdmin before the synchronization between there and here worked reliably. Now I cannot log in at all. I used the same username here and there.
