Can you post a link to an article with which you're having issues?
Are you using a download manager?
cheers

Thank you

If you go to the "Browse code" page (Downloads: A C# LED matrix display[^]) do you see the code? If so, try clicking on the link to the main ZIP file at the top of the tree control on the left hand side.

I give up... Tried everything I could think of... even swaped the browser... still nothing.
I'm using computers for a looong time, never seen anything like this before...
I also tried changing the password on my account, it is weird system I also never seen anywhere before...
This is great website with amazing resources, but is this security or what, but I just don't feel welcomed after this...
Thanks for trying to help, but just don't see why would this be so complicated to use ?
(also allow private email replies to this message is always on, it should be off by default)
All the best

Strange: if I click on the "download sources" button on that article, the DL starts immediately, and works. I can then open the ZIP file, and extract the project with no problems.
I'm using Chrome Version 72.0.3626.119 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Win 10 Version 803 (OS Build 17134.590), with uBlock Origin v1.18.4 with www.codeproject.com in the whitelist. What browser are you trying with?

I don't use FireFox much, but I just tried with Firefox Quantum 63.0.1 (32-bit) - which tells you how often I use it - and the download was fine.
Have you tried with up-to-date Chrome? It shouldn't make any difference since Comodo and Chrome are both Chromium based, but ... another variable removed can't hurt.
Are you having trouble with other articles? How about this one: A Simple Code Snippet to Add an Event[^]

Just seen someone had identical problem:
https://www.codeproject.com/Questions/1214178/I-cant-download-source-file-from-codeproject-com
But, really sorry, I can't spend more time on this at the moment... plus it's really frustrating.
Thanks for help, but I have to really give up at this point...

Ok, only way I can download without this message is to go the the browse code and right mouse button save link as...
I've just checked the file it was javascript, not the files...
In the browser address I get this:
https://www.codeproject.com/script/Common/Error.aspx?errres=NoFileName
Also I can't change the password either.
This is very strange error, never seen it before in my life...
Thanks for your help

You were getting a Javascript error?
Again, I'm sorry this is happening to you but we get hundreds of thousands of downloads monthly and it's extremely rare to see issues with our downloads

Once you uncheck the "Allow private email replies to this message" it it will no longer be on by default

Due to the "privacy by default" concept, it might be a good idea to change the default status, less people will complain about it

The Spam flag, and Follow button, have slid over to the right of the page for some inexplicable reason. They used to be nicely positioned near the actual user name which was the most convenient location.

In a second thought... a bit more separation between the two widgets / buttons would be nice too. Maybe one on the left and one on the right of the Summon-Name?
Or the red flag in the old position and the "follow" in the new position?

It made me stop and think as well - which is a problem early on a Monday - but I can see why: it makes it more of a "positive action" to go near it, so it doesn't get hit by accident.
Possibly the "Follow" should be on the left so it's easier to spot, and I'd like to be sure that rogue profiles won't "push" the report flag a thousand scroll pages right. If it stays aligned to the "screen" right margin rather than the "text" margin it should be OK.
And a thought: if it does stay in the same place, then handling flood spammers should be easier - the old version meant "move to a new page, hunt around with the mouse, click". If it stays in the same place that should reduce the RSI we get reporting several hundred asshats.

So this was exactly the purpose: to provide consistency in the layout.
I'll make a tweak to provide more separation of the Follow button.

Thanks! Once I found the flag, I like it. In the old location, I found that mousing to it often activated dropdowns that I had to detour off to close. Hopefully now it is a bit "out of the way" I'll encounter that less often.

The problem have been here for ages on Sunday morning.
The problem usually starts every Sunday 00:00 (Toronto time) or 06:00 (Europe time), and persist for 3 to 6 hours.
The usually see the problem on Q&A answers while other parts are working fine.
Today, I got the problem on an answer while moderating articles was working.
