Hey Chris,
I'm about to publish some new articles on UWP. Could you advise me where they should go please.
Thanks,
Daniel

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier: jetlag. It's a killer.
Given that UWP is a successor to WinRT I've updated the WinRT section to be UWP and WinRT.
So I'd say your first hunch was the correct one.

Hi All,
I am new to CodeProject. So I have little idea on Answer DownVoting. Few days back I started answering in CodeProject. But I am getting answer as Downvoted. Suppose I am missing something in my answer then they can add comment to improve answer.
Please suggest me so that onwards I will not do the same.
Thanks

Generally, it is expected that Members should make a comment as to why he/she is down voting something. If they don't,ignore that downvote and try to improve that answer if necessary. Afterall, we are here to help others, not for reputation points.
Good luck!

Looking through your recent answers, the only one that seems to have been down-voted was this one[^], which I downvoted because you'd introduced a SQL Injection vulnerability into the code.
I explained the problem in a comment. You have since fixed the code in your answer, so I've updated my vote.
It's still not the right answer, but at least it's not dangerously wrong any more.
Forget that - I see you've added the SelectionMode property as well, which was the real cause of the problem.

I checked my 'Settings and every option that could result in my being sent an e-mail is unchecked.
But, I did receive an e-mail that a QA answer I wrote was edited.
thanks, Bill

Confirmed the issue. Might be a bad forum message causing the error.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

Looks like it is corrected, thanks!

I managed to add a locked sticky message in my profile page and now I'm unable to edit or remove it. Any ideas how I could get rid of it?

Unlocked and unstickied

It's not really instantaneous. The aggregator checks each day. And it likes to think long and hard about all things. And sometimes it drinks heavily and forgets things and needs smack. If it doesn't show up tomorrow I'll see if I can smack it.
Thanks,

Hmm I smacked it and it didn't help. I looked again at the feed. Is it still showing the full feed in there? It needs to in order to pull it. The aggregator only looks at the text in the feed so it needs every word from every entry in there, if you please.
Thanks,
Sean Ewington

Okay, thanks for the hint. This was the problem: we had defined a (Drupal) view with limited content of the article body, which unintentionally affected the atom feeds (by limiting the content of the feeds' description element).

Why is a message posted to an invitation only group being moderated??? Makes no sense.

Two reasons:
1. Anyone can post spam. Accounts get hijacked, members abuse the system. It's rare - very rare - but it's happened.
2. I haven't put in place a "this is a private group so don't spam check".
I was actually thinking about this over the weekend with my finger over the keyboard to enable this spam-check-opt-out. Maybe I'll just add it and see what happens.

True.
Chris Maunder wrote: Accounts get hijacked
I had not considered that.

Never!

I think that would work. The other members of the group or the group admin would quickly punish any offenders.
BTW, it was odd as I had juts posted something that had a link which went straight through but this got held up. Was it because your spam filter is set to barf on mention of the Trump?

Spam checking no longer applies to private groups

A simple code block to reproduce:
var re = /'/;
Everything after the quote is highlighted with the purple color that indicates a string, but this shouldn't happen because there is no string: it's just a quote in a regex literal.
Can this please be fixed?

Should be good in a few minutes (IF you specify Javascript as the "lang" attribute)
