How is one a "Top Expert"? You are either an expert or not; their is no top. Just saying...
Top experts are of course expert at Top. There must also be bottom experts.

must be related to the date bug Chris mentioned in the Lounge.

Under "Surveys" (you know, site content, stuff we as users consume etc) the "search" dual drop down where input can be a term and an area .. I typed in "How" (left) and chose "Community" (right) then hit return. The page refreshed with half a dozen result but was hanging a bit then suddenly diverted to a turkish website.
Thought I might have won the lottery or something ... (but alas)

I just entered a reply (tongue-in-cheek) and clicked to add an emoticon.
Reply was immediately posted without emoticon?

Also, left navigation does not expand. e.g. clicking on Web Development does nothing.
This entry added in IE11 (does allow emoticon )

Chris, I just noticed ... for some reason I cannot fathom, javascript was blocked by Chrome for codeproject. Renabled it and now ....
sorry.

I was just getting around to asking you if you were seeing Javascript errors.
That'd be a "no" then
Glad it's sorted.

There seem to be some problems occurring with the CodeProject Insider Daily Developer News emails. Yesterday only three of the stories marked for the newsletter actually appeared in the email, and today the email seems not to have gone out at all...

A slight error in a deploy. Chris chained himself to his desk to fix it. You should get your Daily News fix shortly.

And so I have! I was getting itchy over here. May have a wee bit of a news problem
We had an issue with the news feed plus a delay in finalising a feature we had planned to introduce today, hence the delay.
The feed is fixed and a little more robust now, and we now have comics! Yay for procrastination.

This question is about using a JAR vs Modifying the package name and keeping it along with my source code.
The BSD 2-Clause License http://opensource.org/licenses/BSD-2-Clause and
The BSD 3-Clause License http://opensource.org/licenses/BSD-3-Clause
Both says
Redistributions in binary form must reproduce the above copyright notice, this list of conditions and the following disclaimer in the documentation and/or other materials provided with the distribution.
Does this means that I cannot modify the original package name provided by the vendor even if I don't modify the code?

There is a Typescript tag. I've added it to the article.

Thanks Chris. I should have double-checked this myself ...

Chris, maybe I'm a bit dense, but where do you locate that TypeScript tag, please?
If I start an article and will select the tags, no TypeScript is present under Language.
Did you just enter it manually? I thought that wasn't possible.
Just type it into the text box containing the list of tags you're applying to an article or question. It should come up via auto-complete.

I'm sorry, but no auto-complete. I can type it in allright - seems to be a "custom" tag - but wasn't it meant to be listed.

I keep getting ads for sports tickets from indians.com. I report each one as I see it.

You might want to follow the steps I outlined in this post[^].
I no longer get off-topic ads here on CP and targeted ads based on my previous searches don't follow me around on different web sites.
