No, Chris Maunder from the support fixed the article.
Thanks, Chris, btw

I did not get to see precisely what was wrong initially, but this is a complaint I hear from time to time. Sometimes I think it may be a server issue, where you uploaded your images and they simply they haven't spread across all servers yet.
The other possibility is the images have the wrong path. If you add your images when the editor is in the WYSIWYG mode you would add them using the little arrow button, shown here:
Code Project Article FAQ[^]
If you want to add your images using the HTML mode in your article they would look like this:
<img src="861867/1._All.PNG" />
The same would be true for the file paths.
Thanks,

Thanks, Sean. For me it sounds like it is possibility 1, as the path of the images were OK, which was confirmed by the support.
What is the best way to get a fast support next time? Is there some email list I can address this when it happens again?
(It happened all 3 times I submitted an article, last time I got some 5 complaints of users who could not download code/ or see the images).
Thanks,
Edgar

If you're having issues like this, write your article offline and submit it to CodeProject via email. There are details on how to do this here[^]. You'll avoid all these issues by doing this.

If you have problems with the articles, then you can ask in http://www.codeproject.com/Forums/1641/Article-Writing.aspx[^]
People there know the editor and can help.

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you
Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

There's only one forum in there now. The plural is redundant.

The pluralisation has been kept to future-proof it.

I have a carton of eggs. Turns out there is only one egg in it. It's still a carton of eggs.
OK, back to work.

You have two dogs. One dies. Do you still have dogs?

But you're referring to the container not the contents. If I had 2 dog houses, and one dog dies, I still have 2 dog houses.
Just messing with you.

It offends my OCD though. In this case, he has one dog house that used to contain two dogs, and it now only contains one dog.

Pete O'Hanlon wrote: In this case, he has one dog house that used to contain two dogs No. Then it would have been Feature Forum with 2 forums. He had dog houses.

Interesting syntactical question. I think the answer is "it depends":
If we define "have" in the narrow terms of "currently own" then it depends if you still own the dead dog. Even if Rover has been interred somewhere, is he still technically your property? If we define it more broadly "[from time-to-time] I have dogs" then the plural stands (and possibly sits, stays and does "paws").This is a bit like me saying I foster dogs. Usually I don't foster multiple animals at the same time, and at the moment I have no foster animals. However, the statement "I foster dogs" is still a reasonable one to make.
I guess if the target is never going to own another dog AND he no longer possesses his deceased best friend than it should be singular.

Do I still have Crabs?

That's not a question anyone here is willing to touch.

Is the setting "Treat my content as plain text, not as HTML" checked when you're posting by any chance?

Only been here 11 and a half years, so you know, just getting used to the UI and stuff.

That's because the UI is about as stable as Ms Hilton's unmentionables*
* this is a JOKE, I know it is now pretty much stable and there is no need to send Sean round. Seriously, NO NEED!
