Yes possible that it has some cache or some delay in refresh.
Note:-
I have ~190 for 14/oct/2014 these are Authority points. if I count total for the day then it will be much more.

You need to earn Expert points, not just any points.
Answer lots of questions really well and you'll get points for the answers and points for when people upvote and accept your answers.

It is also a cached list - so it refresh a few times only a day and it possible that one who had place in it one point of time will not see himself because of when the refresh happening...

Using Chrome Version 40.0.2185.0 canary (64-bit)
Posting an answer in QA posts it fine, but when I go to close the page afterwards I get the "this page has changed, do you really want to leave?" message
(I'll try it on "regular" 32 bit version next time and update this)
[edit1] It doesn't happen with comments on a question, just answers [/edit1]
[edit2] Forgot to try it on "vanilla" Chrome, but the latest version of Canary ("Version 40.0.2188.1 canary (64-bit)") gives the same message. [/edit2]
[edit3] Vanilla chrome "Version 37.0.2062.120 m" gives the same problem, and is updating at the moment [/edit3]
[edit4] Vanilla Chrome "Version 38.0.2125.101 m" gives the same problem. [/edit4]

I saw the same problem last night in Firefox 32.0.3, so I don't think it's limited to Chrome.
However, the problem only appeared after your return.

Fixed.
That was an interesting one.
It's also shown that there's some Javascript that needs to be taken out back for a discussion.
