Yes, the link was not there earlier, but I see they fixed it all up. And I can even see the results now

Am I the only one who's missing the Share Code With Others button?
It should be visible at the top under the code tab,
but its not and it's not visible under any other tabs
Is this just me? It was there yesterday.

I can confirm that the link is visible under Firefox (just downloaded it to test)

Do you meant the Social Share buttons on the left hand bar under "Add your own alternative version"? or a different button?

Solved the issue, Adblocker was blocking the Share Code button which takes you to %project%/share
I was already contacted via Email where we sorted things out ;D

If I use the following tags:
<div class="code-samples">
<pre lang="cs">
C# code here...
</pre>
<pre lang="VB.NET">
VBCode here...
</pre>
</div> The middle tags
</pre>
<pre lang="VB.NET">
gets automatically stripped away in the old submission wizard.
Seems to work in the new wizard though

And it's not just me, it also happened to @Sean-Ewington when he approved my updated article.

I said it a thousand times. The old wizard isn't magic at all, and I refuse to use the cripple from a past decade.
Go for the CKEditor, it works.

IMHO - in its beta state it's better than the old one!

Definitely.
I wrote more than just one or two Tips with the new one, and it never let me down.

Yes please, but make sure Sean is using it too, because when I corrected the layout yesterday, and then when he made it available the layout was gone, again.

I guess Chris meant "taking off the beta label" as in "wrecking the old Editor", e.g. Sean will be forced to use the new one

Maybe I should've written the "Yes please" in bold, italics and large.

Are you still being an editor?

I got protector rights, but it includes editor rights and I also do a fair bit of editing / moderating, so yes.

Well I was going to ask you to check and eventually accept my update of my article.
But it's not the editor that's to blame, I updated it in the new editor, checked it in the preview, and everything was fine and dandy. It's when I press the submit button the tags are stripped away.
|
|
|
|
|
Ok,
So I'm seeing a pattern now.
It's not about the editor, it's when you press the submit button that the tags get stripped away.
Some kind of parsing seems to be done when you press the submit button that is sensitive to whitespace.
This seems to work:
<div class="code-samples">
<pre lang="cs">
C# code here
...
</pre>
<pre lang="VB.NET">
VB code here
...
</pre>
</div>
This not:
<div class="code-samples">
<pre lang="cs">C# code here
...</pre>
<pre lang="VB.NET">VB code here
...</pre>
</div>

The closing quote " in the second expression is not recognized (which is weird, it is working perfectly in the live above), causing the rest of the text to be interpreted as a string content.
