Why are the QA Solutions no longer numbered?
It's now more difficult to cross-reference between them (for comparison or giving attribution).
Also, since in the past they were numbered any descriptive text that did cross-reference (as above) now makes less sense.
It doesn't appear to save any space in layout.
A positive attitude may not solve every problem, but it will annoy enough people to be worth the effort.

Hi,
I think adding the ability to any user to follow an "Unanswerd question" in CodeProject may be very intressting.
Since such a fonctionallity dosen't exsist, i generaly put a comment in the unaswerd question (i am intreseted in) to follow any update done in the subject.
What do you think about the suggestion?
PS : Following a question means to have notification when an answer or a comment is given by any user.

Well I, for one, think this is a great idea.

Ziee-M wrote: Since such a fonctionallity dosen't exsist Yeah, I think the functionality used to be there. Sort of. If you look at your bookmarks, on the right hand side there is a "Watch" option, which I believe is intended to work as you are suggesting. There used to be a "My Watched Items" menu entry on your Profile page, but I never saw any updates to the things I had chosen to watch.
I remember taking part of a similar discussion...let me see...here we go: http://www.codeproject.com/Messages/4285887/QA-answer-notification.aspx[^]

Hi Guys
A few days ago we got a bunch of spam messages (http://www.codeproject.com/Messages/4822911/Nile.aspx[^]).
I reported them all as spam and reported the member as a spammer too.
Is there a time period that needs to elapse before such messages and accounts are removed, or does it require a certain number of votes?

There needs to be a certain number of votes for messages and accounts to be removed. Reporting in the Spam and Abuse forum[^] gets quick action.
(Messages and account all gone)

The name you supplied has already been registered. If you already have a CodeProject account using this name then please sign in (or you can retrieve your password). I was already signed in. I even clicked the "sign in" link - which appeared to do nothing - and tried the update again - with the same result.

I'll need more info, please.
Are you trying to change your display name? If so, what to? I'll have a go from my end and see what's happening.

I was trying to add an extra witty comment to my forum signature.
I appended the extra text on a new line after the existing one. I then hit save and ...!

Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to receive the Insider newsletter on another email address as well.
I have a private CP account, but I would like to receive the Insider at work too (so I'd like to receive it at two email addresses).
Is this possible without creating a second account?
And could it, for example, be possible to create one account and send the Insider to the entire company?
It's an OO world.
public class SanderRossel : Lazy<Person>
{
public void DoWork()
{
throw new NotSupportedException();
}
}

Sadly no at least from our end you would need to create a new account at which you wished to receive newsletters.
Thanks,

Unfortunate indeed
I guess I could make a company account.
Thanks anyway.

Although, I think such a feature would be useful and should go on the idea list.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

I suspect it might be because its a autosaved draft. Its possible that it was in moderation queue when you made a comment. It happen many times since last month or so.

Yeah. Whatever may be the case, it should redirect me to the Reply to the Comment, right?
So, it needs to be fixed. Thanks Rohan.

I don't know if it is related, but in the forums this often happens when the comment it is linking to is now on a different page. You have to click next in the page numbers to then see it.
I don't know if articles page comments though.
There are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who don't.

Here it is an issue with versions of article and as you said in forums, it is due to paging.
However, the issue is the same. It does not take you to the correct post.
