I'm having Matthew review this today.

It's presently possible for members to give themselves all-platinum colored badges if they want to.
For example, see my profile page[^]
I'm not sure whether this should be possible or not...
It does make a good joke though. April Fool's idea?

Oh, you can do better than that! Go to your profile page and hit up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a .

Why do I want to reduce my profile points?

This issue, and the blank member name, has been fixed and will be deployed tomorrow

Yeaaah ... I made it on there ! ... or am I going to get bumped down when the bug is fixed

It looks like that member is a reincarnation of Md. Humayun Rashed[^], whose account is removed now, but there is still a snapshot of it in the Internet Wayback Archive[^]. Probably this is the same bug as the bug with the account of Krunal Rohit: his first account was removed for some reason, and then it was reincarnated with another Member ID. His answers are still associated to his first account (and not moved to the second), but the rep is moved. I think it's the same bug for this account.

My account says I have been here for 1 year 3 months when really I've only been here for around 4 months!

Your very firs post - that I can see is from the 17th of July 2013, that's about 8 month...
Maybe you registered with CP but dudn't used your account for a while?

When I updated my article A New Parser Generator for C#[^] a few days ago, I believe the download links worked. As I published the new version with Article 3, I just used links to part 3. These links are now broken an CP will not let me fix the HTML even if I choose "Expert Mode: Don't Mess With My HTML".

Adding my LinkedIn url to my profile and making no other changes caused the Professional icon to no longer appear next to my name in posts. An attempt to re-save my professional contact info didn't help either.

Have you checked your professional profile and ensure all fields were entered?
|
|
|
|
|
I just checked and found the "Company Size" field was unset. I've never unset it myself, so I think there's something broken somewhere. Anyway, I just reset it - hopefully my profile icon will now be correct.

That happened to me also - while updating profile, company size got cleaned...
But! It happens only once (in my experience) so don't worry...

I updated my article[^] yesterday evening, but it still has the previous update date after having been made available.
The revisions seems to be correct.

Deeksha may have chosen not to mark the article as updated when she modified it. Let me know if you want me to kick it.

Not important, I thought it was automatic and therefore a bug.
|
|
|
|
|
Not vital, but it would make it a little easier to deal with some questions if the recalcitrant code (and supporting screen dumps) could be attached in a manner similar to that used for articles especially where the questioner has a lot of code that is causing him or her problems.
Either that or restrict the length of text allowed to a question in the hope that it will force the questioner to focus as tightly as possible on the problem.
