Better idea: Leave it there, and place a second one on the bottom.

After the troll war we had the last days I had the following idea:
Every message posted by the said troll had to be reported for itself, which lead to the fact that there are still trollish items laying around.
No what If CP hides items from users which were banned for spamming and/or being abusive?
I am not talking about a permanent deletion - If the account is re-instantiated all the items would be available again, not harming false-banned members as Brisingr Aerowing a few days ago.
This may needs a bit of modification of the user management system, since messages of user accounts which were deleted on the request of the member would not need to be hidden.
Me thinks that a feature like that probably wouldn't harm anyone, given the fact how rare false-positive votings on members providing useful content really are but would make the clean-up work a lot easier.
Just my 5 cents, it may be too much effort for too few benefit.

The potential hazards outweigh the inconvenience I think. It's certainly do-able, but a little scary.

Can you clarify why it would be considered scary?
It wouldn't cause any content to be deleted permanently...

Navigated to Who's Who: We're not sure what, but we have a few guesses.
Problem: An item with the same key has already been added.

It probably cannot keep up with recalculating indexes with the speed users are getting added and the banned again at the moment.

So CP is mine now! Bwahoohaha!
Right, I'm off to take all the rep-points of anyone who's been inactive for more than five years, that'll be good for a million and I'll be King! Top Dog! Big Banana!
I don't want to take all the credit though, I'll let you carry on paying the bills...

Is there a bug in the membership system relating to inheriting old accounts reputation points?
I have noticed that when our latest 'friend' registers a new account, his reputation points are higher than the previous account, and with each new account creation they keep getting higher.
The only common factor is that 'it' keeps setting the friendlyURL to the same as the previous accounts.
It is difficult to exactly see what is going on because there are so many accounts involved and the display name keeps changing (and can't see the old points once account dies), but the one common factor is the friendly URL remains the same.
Edit: the latest [^] account was created, friendly url changed to usual one and points immediately at 2563
Edit2: new latest [^] = 3103
See what I mean....

I noticed similar with the list of comments when he was doing it yesterday with the 1990 one, logged it below.
Don't remember the rep at any point though.

However it's just participants points. as he haven't got any mvp points I suppose its the signup & newsletter points which are increasing
Edit: good thing: participant points won't gain him anything other than hyperlinks in the biography
