It is a paradox that paradoxes would actually exist in reality.
That means of course that they don't exist.
However, they do!

No wonder it doesn't work properly then.
I'm sure the readership of this site who have worked extensively in Progress as a language is probably me and one other, but rest assured we're both pissing ourselves with laughter right now.

The pragmatic solution - not perfect but maybe easier and helps also:
Add to the new "go parent" also something like a "go next".

A slight twist to 'go-to-top' suggestion - like "make top", bringing the start of that thread (or whatever message one selects) to the top of their message list. This solves will work with the lesser and greater length threads - when it's gotta break, it's gotta break, but this way a long thread starting near the bottom of a page can be use-prettified.
Should they back up enough, it starts with the latest and their normal count.

You mean 53 I think. If first thread has 47 and next thread has 6 posts, its clearly 53. If you are not counting the parent post as post(replies only), then it should be total 55 messages(posts). But not 54 in any way.

I was downloading some source code (about 3 mb) on relatively poor and heavily data restricted internet connection, and just about the time the download was going to finish, the connection got disconnected. On trying to resume it, my DM found that resuming not supported. but I recall, previously resuming was working fine. Proxy issues or CP download server got moved into an old HTTP 1.0? Re-downloading is not annoying but, on a slow data-capped connection (which I'm forced to use sometimes), it is a nightmare.

Is this a bug or can you really change the type from Question to Article?

[EDIT]
This is closed now and looks like any other Question when you click the link, but it was in the Moderation Queue as an article when I posted it.

Of course you can. All you have to do is order one and pay for it, or win a competition with it as a prize.

I just posted a tip/trick and did a couple of revisions (how do you miss those silly typos???) and found that I got 10 and 2 points each time. Does that mean I could revise it several hundred times and massively increase those valuable rep points with little effort?

It will save you having to post jokes in the SB to collect those 'valuable' points with little effort.

The points have value? really? Where can I cash them in? I thought they were meaningless tokens.

I realise what you meant with or without the smiley. Obviously I can't say the same about you.
