Sadly, while the notification of closed thread was sent he solutions were not sent to my email. Not in spam or inbox. Is there anyway to reopen the question?

Check your Notifications - top right of this screen, a White number on a Red background. Hover the mouse over and you may be able to read the answer - I have no idea how else it works, I don't read mine.

Careful, if the OP clicks "go to", it will be removed from the notification area and they'll be screwed.
If the OP goes to the notifications page (rather than clicking a specific notification), the full items can be read without visiting them and removing them from the notification list.

Unfortunatel, in tat regard I am screwed sir haha. No notification from it in there must of alreay gone to it.

True, you did admit you don't use them haha. K, now that I've changed my keyboard lets see if I stop messing words up.

Changing keyboards generally makes me worse for a month or two...thanks gawd for Chrome spell and grammar checker in textboxes! (And the VS spell checker extension, of course)

It is possible to look at parts of a question that has been closed like this. I don't know if what I provide below will get either of us into trouble, but at least it gives you a chance to look at the solutions.
Here is your question: http://www.codeproject.com/script/Answers/EntryVersion.aspx?aid=621821&av=909384[^]
And here are the solutions:
http://www.codeproject.com/script/Answers/EntryVersion.aspx?aid=621856&av=909434[^]
http://www.codeproject.com/script/Answers/EntryVersion.aspx?aid=621873&av=909456[^]
[EDIT]
Regarding why your question was deleted, you have to understand that there are so many questions being posted in QA all the time and there has to be a way for the community to remove certain submissions.
Your question was closed because three members reported it (I checked, but I cannot see the exact reasons given by the members).
A few, very trusted members (such as the ones that have already replied to you; Pete O'Hanlon, AspDotNetDev and OriginalGriff) have the power to delete questions and answers on their own, but as I said above, you question was essentially "voted off" because three members reported it.
Just so you don't release your wrath on me, let me say that I report on questions and answers all the time, but I am not one of the three that reported your question.

Thank you for the help. Thank you so much. It's not that I was necessarily mad I just didn't understand why it got closed. Now that I know it is common pratice I will watch my posts like a hawk. I mean it wasn't even up 24 hours is what got me.
Mainly, I was just upset that it fell under spam, etc. since it was a legit question that I really needed help with. As for the person that got it closed, to respond to your comment, I have suggested getting rid of file translation, but this company moves at snails pace and will only take small steps. So for now I have to keep them in.

You are welcome and I am happy you could use the advice given in the solution.

Apologies for not replying sooner, but the short answer is that your question was probably closed because it looks like a big code dump with a "how do I do it better" instead of an actual question with a right or wrong answer.
Your post, when you read it carefully (which is a rare thing when so much code is posted) does actually lay out your problems (multiple) but again, first impressions are that it's a dump.
My suggestion is to focus down on the actual problem. If it's an issue with regular expressions then provide sample input data, the regex you're using (or nothing if you're stumped) and what you need to see. If it's an issue of porting VB6 to VB.NET then start with a small, simple function and get pointers on it.

Okay, this[^] account was nuked because the user is a troll. However, he's still posting rubbish after his account is removed. What gives?
When my Popeye account was nuked I was able to post for some time afterwards (maybe 15-20 mins).
They've had plenty of time to sort this out since then.
Did anybody mention it though? Once nuked all I did was go to GIT and chat with the guys in there for a bit, so I don't think it was reported.
I just brang it up to support your observation and confirm that you can post for a short period after your account is deleted.

You'll need to talk to your system admin regarding any blocking that's happening.
