It's just to the left of the message. Move your mouse there and hover over the up/down arrows.

Also (to add to Richard) Downvoting is not available in either the GIT or the GCT forums.

You're welcome!
But downvoting isn't only available in the Q&A forums. It's also available in the Article Writing forum and in the discussion board of each article.

I just noticed the customization tab in the settings page.
Though it says Beta, does it work yet? I've tried a couple things after viewing the source of my Profile page and nothing works. Is there something I'm not doing right? Is there a help file somewhere?

My apologies - it should be working now.

Found it? You'll find the customizations tab in the settings page.
Try hovering on a picture in my profile or upvoting a post, you'll see the customizations I made.

I changed my display name from GeekBond to this...
But the form automatically set my Account label also to my display name.
Attempting to change my display name back or the account label to what it was before ....
CP says: Items that need attention:
•The name you supplied has already been registered. Please choose another, or try retrieving your password if that is your member name.
CP says: Unable to find your information. Can you please check the email or display name and try again? If in doubt refer to the original membership email that was sent to you when you joined.

I just came across a couple of articles that I am able to edit and delete. That should not be possible since I do not have those privileges.
I have not actually tried to do either, but the icons are available to me in the upper right corner.
I would prefer not to blindly post the links, so let me know how you want me to point you to the articles.
[EDIT]
The problem seems far greater than I initially thought. I have put some information together in an unpublished article, which is pretty easy for you to locate under my profile (since there are no other articles to muddy the waters ). I think it will be best if an Admin takes a look at it.

Some authors allow anyone to edit their articles.

|
|
|

Could you take a quick look at my note and check if that is the case?

I'd love to help, but as I'm an editor already, the features are pretty much always available to me.

No Pete, it's a bug.
I just checked on one of mine: it is marked as Edit "Admin only" and by borrowing my cat's login id (http://www.codeproject.com/Members/Dij-The-Cat[^] 500 points total) I can edit the Tip.

Thanks for checking OG.
I don't know if the CP guys have a good way of tracking all these down, but I do have a list almost as long as the one already in my note. I tracked them down Saturday, but did not want to spend the time formatting the note if it turned out to be a waste of time. If Chris can use the information, I will update the note with the additional links.
I noticed a couple authors have quite a few in the list - they may have opted for the "Allow anyone to edit" setting.

Whatever it is I'll fix it quickly.
