I was using my site (my website) as a general example... but it could be any website that has a login system using OAuth/OpenID.
A site (like mine) may not WANT to have full local user registrations for many reasons , OR they might just want people to be able to login to their site using an OAuth/OpenID provider.
What you see when you see a site that has "Login with your Google account" "Login with your Facebook account" etc.
I'd like to see Codeproject become an OAuth/OpenID provider.
so (in my case) I could add CodeProject to the list of providers someone could log in with.

Ok,
I was never too interested in finding out what would happen if I clicked on one of these Facebook or Twitter links. I'm usually just interested in not being confounded by the reason why when I tell a page "Not interested in this" it goes ahead and "interests" me anyway.

I edited a question this morning, but I don't see it listed in my reputation history. I haven't been on the board, actively, for a while and don't know if this is intended.
In the past, I have tracked my edited questions this way.
Thanks.

Deleted answers are still visible on the MemberPosts.aspx page (they are only visible for you). Scroll down, and click on the "Show Only Publicly Available Posts" link. Then you'll see 'Answers (429)' on the MemberPosts.aspx page. On your profile, "Q&A answers" only shows the number of publicly available posts.
Hope this helps.

For me this is how this site worked last week.
1 Go pick a forum.
2 Scroll down to find a interesting topic subject line.
3 Click a post to open it
4 Contents of post displayed...
This is what happens today.
1 Go pick a forum.
2 Scroll down to find a interesting topic subject line.
3 Click a post to open it
4 Browser refocus to top of forum
5 Scroll down to topic I clicked on.
6 Contents of post are displayed.
Obviously steps 4/5 are annoying.
I don't think that anything changed in the system although I did not that I had to log in to the site. Last Friday it worked and the only update since then was a Norton Anti-Virus update.
I am using windows 8 and IE 10.
[update] Oddly enough the behavior does not occur in the lounge. I re-tested with the C++ forum after noting the behavior in the lounge and it is still doing it.

I can't reproduce the issue.
Can you open up F12 dev tools and take a look at the Console. Any error messages?

I didn't see the problem last night on a different computer and browser.
And so far I don't see it today on the same system (and browser) as yesterday.

This happens, if message contents weren't fully loaded when you click, may be the page was too large or your connection is slow... therefore, a full reload occurs

I've noticed a bug that, I believe, is important. I also found, that it has been reported in 2010 Unable-To-Change-Vote-Message-Titles.aspx[^], but no action was taken.
Should I just vote up the old thread or it is better to raise the same issue again to attract attention?

Sometime's ago I had a great internet outage, and I was forced to go back to use a dial-up. In such a scenario, the dynamic codeproject site began to behave so strangely that I could not imagine. That wasn't a great issue though, since I had a lot of cached content.
So just like the basic html view of GMail, wouldn't be a basic HTML view be helpful?

Next time try switching to Mobile mode. The link is at the bottom left of all pages => Advertise | Privacy | Mobile.
