Ohh my god.
I just check, this facility is already available.
Sorry to bother you all.

I am beginning to love markdown mostly for it's simplicity and wondered if we can use it for article editing (should be easier to write and validate/process into html).

Including a link would have meant too much trouble, I suppose?

Well it kind of varies but basically something like : http://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/syntax[^]

The only issue with Markdown is that it can cause grief with our HTML editor. Article content is stored as HTML, so editing in Markdown means converting from HTML to Markdown. I do have a HTML-Markdown converter written (but not fully tested), but another option is to say that if an article starts out in Markdown then it stays in Markdown.

Having the option to author in markdown and stay there would be great if you can put it in.

The values appear small or zero; and this has been the case for a good while. It used to be that I'd see they were in the thousands; but not anymore.
Isn't that life? The good old days: "Not anymore".

I dont see a link to code project TV in Chrome or firefox using a fixed layout from the Code Project home page . Windows 7 PC . Also I would expect to be able to click the lounge in the short message list on the right and go to the lounge , I can only click the specific message . But the TV one is VERY frustrating . As someone eager to try , but not knowing anything about codeproject TV , the only way I could get there was to select a video I did not want and then look at the URL .

Yup, trying to open a post in the first page of the C# forum is causing my IE browser to crash on my Windows Phone. WP8.

'Tis true. Wish I'd got an S3 instead.

Really ? I read only good reviews about it.
There is already an S4, ain't it ?

There is, but it wasn't out when I got my new phone.

I'm tired of the low number of quality official apps that are present in the Windows Phone store. Until MS get this addressed, they are never going to be a serious player in this space.

I experienced the same app problem, since I am running Windows 8 at home. This is terrible at the moment (especially when seeing what Google Play offers me on my Android phone).

Go here[^] (codeproject forum). Gives me page 130. Click the previous page, using the link at the bottom labelled "129". Brings me to the first page on the forum

For me, it gives page 66.
[EDIT]
It shows 66 for me, because I prefer 50 messages per page. Changed "Per page" into 25, and it gives me page 131. I clicked on 130 and 129, but it didn't bring me to the first page.

That just means that yours is bigger than mine. Or running at a higher resolution
At the bottom of the forum, there's links to other pages in the forum; a page-selector thingy. What happens if you click the link that says "65"? Where does that navigate to?

No, I prefer 50 messages per page, when I changed the messages per page to 25, it gives page 131.
Eddy Vluggen wrote: What happens if you click the link that says "65"?
Then it navigates me to page 65, not to the first page.
