I tried in Chrome 26.0.1410.64 m, which would time out after about 3min. I am currently using Firefox 19.0.2 (which is currently updating).
And I just got an error page:
Ticket: (No ticket provided - possibly an error in the error-system)
Error: An error occurred in this page. The error has been recorded and the site administrator informed.
Abort, Retry, Fail?_
What went wrong this time?

Sounds like one of the servers was having issues. All good now? (I've not seen any issues myself this morning)

Haven't looked yet. My internet connection at home was about 5MB/S for some reason, which may have been part (or the direct cause of) the issue. (I really hate Frontier Communications Incorporated, they are completely incompetent. The janitor likely knows more about technology than the company IT people!)

The codeproject daily news used to be in my inbox around 5:30am every day, which meant I could read some articles before work. Now it's coming around 1-2:00pm, so I usually have to wait till after work to read it. I realize the world does not revolve around me, I was just wondering if this time-change is permanent, or a mistake. You are ruining my mornings. Just so you know, all code project business should be performed according to my schedule.

5:30?? Something's wrong. You should have the news first thing in the morning.
Fr the past few days we've had a massive slowdown that we suspect is due to load. This morning Matthew and I reworked some stuff which should speed things up significantly. Tomorrow should be a better day.

For the last few days I'm not getting user profile info when I mouse-hover over user names in the Lounge. This was previously working well on on IE 8.0.6001.18702 and on much more recent versions of IE and Chrome.

It works for me on Chrome. Have you deselected the "Profile Popups" checkbox by mistake?
Use the best guess

Yes sorry totally my fault, looks like the show popups setting went when my settings got scrambled in a browser crash a few days ago. I put the rest back but missed the check box.

Where is this link? The menu? Homepage? An email?

Not sure where that was, but in the sidebar I saw The Insider News link with '/star12.png' (I think it was png) at the end of it, causing the Hover Zoom Chrome extension to try and show an image. I think OG reported something like that before. I also have seen the words 'undefined' and 'unknown' in the URL bar of various browsers on the Insider News page itself.
That page seems to be a hotspot for strange happenings.

It was in the navigation menu on the left.
However seems fine today.
(Yet I still also wonder what the numbers / pages behind "Insider.aspx" mean )

|
|
|

They are the post ids of the post which has the focus, CP needs them to do the paging stuff.

As of today, the two most recent surveys are:
Date | Survey | # | 22 Apr 2013 - 29 Apr 2013 | Will you move to jQuery 2.0 (and drop IE 6,7 and 8 support)? jQuery 2.0 has been release and drops support for IE8,7 and 6. Will you, too, drop IE6,7 and 8 support? | 197 | 15 Apr 2013 - 22 Apr 2013 | Do you build your own machine? Once upon a time every developer worth their salt spec'd and built their own machine to their own exact requirements... | 920 |
If the second one is supposed to end today, the vote link should still be available below the results. Otherwise, the last day to vote should have been yesterday.

It ends today. At 12:00AM today.

Since time isn't shown, that's misleading. Oh we'll, at least I let it out of my chest.

You mean you don't start your day at a default of 12::00AM?

It's not the start date that I'm complaining about. The survey end date should end on 11:59:59 PM. Hence, the day before.

Fixed. Now you should be able to download the file.

Hi
I registered by blog as a technical blog feed on my profile and as I understood I had to either give it a category or tag of "CodeProject" for it to be consumed.
I've been very careful only to tech technical or code related articles in this way in order to comply with the rules.
however of late, every article is pulled no matter the category / tag. I've no actual problem with this except the articles I don't tag are then usually closed or rejected.
I'm keen to ensure only technical articles actually get syndicated here, so am I doing something wrong or is there a bug in the technical blog consumption feature?
