Chris Maunder wrote: So do a search for "ToDolist codeproject" on our search and it comes up first
Chris,
Within 'CodeProject', I would consider the search word 'codeproject' as redundant. Is there a way to have a kind of page ranking within articles or based on past search-hit/miss heuristics? I know it would be little search analytics involved though.

Dear CP Team,
When we report a message as 'Abuse', the following message is displayed:
success. Message reported as abuse
I believe the intended message should have been '
Message reported as abuse ' as the first word, as we discern from a missing capitalization, should be a return status for the AJAX response and should not be displayed.

I know we've seen this before but Quick Answers is continuously reporting "Sorry, no entries were found matching tags ...". Been happening for a few days, and time of day doesn't seem relevent. Happens on both Unanswered and All questions.
[Edit] Just tried without filters again - yesterday it had no effect but today all questions do come up if I remove the filters. I've just rebuilt my filter list bit by bit and it failed again when I added C# but is now working - very strange

Q&A empty? That will happen about the same time when hell freezes over or when Nagy becomes permanently abstinent sober.
You probably set a filter to show only questions that are tagged according to you filter settings.
Cheers!

Yes I have filters on ... the same ones I've been using for years though ... and if I take them off I still get the same effect

Shouldn't that be released?

I tried in Chrome 26.0.1410.64 m, which would time out after about 3min. I am currently using Firefox 19.0.2 (which is currently updating).
And I just got an error page:
Ticket: (No ticket provided - possibly an error in the error-system)
Error: An error occurred in this page. The error has been recorded and the site administrator informed.
Abort, Retry, Fail?_
What went wrong this time?

Sounds like one of the servers was having issues. All good now? (I've not seen any issues myself this morning)

Haven't looked yet. My internet connection at home was about 5MB/S for some reason, which may have been part (or the direct cause of) the issue. The codeproject daily news used to be in my inbox around 5:30am every day, which meant I could read some articles before work. Now it's coming around 1-2:00pm, so I usually have to wait till after work to read it. I realize the world does not revolve around me, I was just wondering if this time-change is permanent, or a mistake. You are ruining my mornings. Just so you know, all code project business should be performed according to my schedule.

5:30?? Something's wrong. You should have the news first thing in the morning.
Fr the past few days we've had a massive slowdown that we suspect is due to load. This morning Matthew and I reworked some stuff which should speed things up significantly. Tomorrow should be a better day.

For the last few days I'm not getting user profile info when I mouse-hover over user names in the Lounge. This was previously working well on on IE 8.0.6001.18702 and on much more recent versions of IE and Chrome.

It works for me on Chrome. Have you deselected the "Profile Popups" checkbox by mistake?

Yes sorry totally my fault, looks like the show popups setting went when my settings got scrambled in a browser crash a few days ago. I put the rest back but missed the check box.

Not sure where that was, but in the sidebar I saw The Insider News link with '/star12.png' (I think it was png) at the end of it, causing the Hover Zoom Chrome extension to try and show an image. I think OG reported something like that before. I also have seen the words 'undefined' and 'unknown' in the URL bar of various browsers on the Insider News page itself.
That page seems to be a hotspot for strange happenings.

It was in the navigation menu on the left.
However seems fine today.
(Yet I still also wonder what the numbers / pages behind "Insider.aspx" mean )

They are the post ids of the post which has the focus, CP needs them to do the paging stuff.
