This is IMHO a great idea. I too would love this feature.

What happened to the icons? I see the answer icon marking new posts, and the laugh icon as the answer icon!

Do you have any download managers in place? Ad blockers? Add-ins? Company firewalls? Overactive anti-virus?

hi,
Some one deleted my post[^]
I accept my own answer on some observation, later I realized my observation is wrong, so, I tried to reject my own answer.
But somebody deleted it. If the question does not seem too violent would you please restore my question, so that I can get help.
By the way about one comment, I still don't think I deserve down-vote, if some-one don't understand, it can't be my problem

either, my service failed, or somebody restored.

No idea if this is 'by design' or not but the icon on the tabs in chrome changes between the "old" forums (like lounge, site bugs/sugs , ....) and Q/A.
It's a very small difference tho but I think the Q/A one is newer (where the head of bob comes above the orange) and the "old" forums still have the old icon (where bob is completely on a orange background)
Like I said tiny bug

|
|

There are other places the new icon exists, like the article lists.

You mean the site logo at the top left? I can't replicate this.

I think you mean the main logo that is in the top banner.
Not that one
When you open codeproject in chrome (or IE) the tab (from chrome / IE) displays the codeproject logo on it.
In chrome these logo's differ between the forums and Q/A (and probably other places)
In IE10 they don't
Haven't tested in FF.
Maybe a pic can make things clearer

Let me know when you don't need the pic anymore so I can remove it again

Gotcha.
We only have one favicon on the servers. Chrome is caching. Chrome likes caching. Chrome likes caching in an unhealthy, obsessive kind of way.

Got to love chrome :P
I do have it on both my home pc and work laptop tho but I guess that's still caching.
And now that I think about it, it had been a while since I ventured into Q/A
(removing pic so link won't work anymore)

I am still seeing it, even after obliterating the cache, browsing history, and download history. Chrome Version 26.0.1410.64 m. Article lists have a favicon with white bars, other places have one that is solid orange (Both have Bob on them).
Firefox does the same thing. As does Internet Explorer 10.
I think you may have a rogue favicon somewhere in the CP website tree.

He means the website favicon (e.g. in the browser tabs).
