This has been happening to me for years. I fixed the problem by switching to Chrome (maybe not the answer you were looking for, but it works).

I don't seem to be receiving them - I just checked an answer and there was a comment 41 minutes ago, but no email has arrived. It was all working an hour and a half ago (email @15:37, current time 17:13) and I haven't changed any settings. I just checked and all three of the "Email Notifications" are checked in the "MySettings...Newsletters & Emails" tab of the settings page.
Looks like it may be at my ISP - I can't get any messages through...oh, joy!

I have edited the answer that the text is not going out of the box anymore...

Yes, that is fine, but it does not fix the issue permanently.
I could have done that also. But I reported because it is a bug.
You just removed some of the "=====", so that the length of that text is minimized and it gets displayed inside the box.
Ideally, when the text increases, the text should be wrapped in that box.
So, I am going to increase that length so that it will seen by the admin of CP.
Thanks,
Tadit.

If you do so, I'd like to add another example from The Lounge[^] where the same error occurs.

Hi all,
While creating my account i have accidentely memtioned my Account type as Group (which is wrong). But i have changed my account type to Strandard Member Account type long back. But in all my discussions my accoubt type is shown as Group (as you can see that now) but when i suppose to edit my account settings is shows as Standart Member Type. How this problem can be resolved?

I don't think it does, it shows which privileges you have been granted. Look for any that are highlighted in green and hover your mouse over them. If none are green then you are not at that level yet. Seems a bit buggy yet.

Right... just about to write a reply and saw you updated your message.
Thanks.

Jeppa. Either it should replace the other view[^] and ran somewhere else because it fears the hamsters or it should do as you suggested first.

It shows fixed texts, and the level you need to reach to get the privilege.
If you have reached the level, you get a green tick on the left hand side of the table to show you what you are allowed. If you have no tick, you can't do it!
Mine[^] for example is pretty full of ticks, while my cat[^] has none. But then, he's not that interested in computers.

ahhh!! they solved this issue underground. it wasnt like this before , it used to display all green text for action for all the members. its fixed now.
Also I see the reason now why I cant see Approve article on my home page. one needs to be in Gold status for Author.

Hello All,
I can see one table in "Privileges" section in Profile, which has a row saying about privilege "Create a new tag".
Can anybody tell me, what are the actions related to this privilege ?
Thanks,
Tadit

Hi,
The Code Project Tags FAQ[^] can help you.
In some cases, my signature will be longer than my message...

Yes. Thanks...
How can I create a new tag?
Tags can be created by simply entering one that does not yet exist in our system while creating a new article, tip/trick, question, answer, etc. After your content (article, question, etc.) has been submitted you may see an icon next to the list of tags indicating that your new tag(s) may not be immediately visible. This is due to caching.

I have seen this on a few occasions now. The message is green and on the right side it says "0 upvotes"
at the time of writing minus a few minutes this[^] was an example.

Someone else reported having worked out why this happens but didn't explicitly say. The implication was that the upvote was from an account since deleted, hence the message is tagged as upvoted but the vote itself no longer exists.
I'm sure someone with inside knowledge will correct this where it's wrong sooner or later.
