did you get any e-mail from CP that you have been awarded with MVP status, If yes it will be displayed near your name.
having more rep points doesnt mean that you ca get MVP. please read more here
Accoring to CP Quote: Those who have spent their time answering questions in the forums and writing great articles. MVP status is awarded annually based on ones contributions, and the feedback of the other members. Members of this group get an MVP icon next to their names in the forums and in their profile.

that means you are not awarded MVP yet. so no MVP status. please keep in mind that having more rep points doesn't earn you MVP status.
MVP is awarded early, when CP thinks your contribution to this site for the year is satisfactory they will award you an MVP for that year. Also your cumulative rep points doesnt earn MVP status either.
so keep contribute this year you may have a chance to receive an e-mail on Jan 2014.
Good Luck.

I think jibesh explained it very well, I just wanted to add a link to the list of current CodeProject MVPs[^]. As you can see, this was awarded to 40 out of more than 9,000,000 members.

The MVP status is awarded for outstanding contributions to CP. In other words, it's awarded to the people who help others the most. In the past, people cheated to get awards by doing things like creating other accounts to vote for themselves. This doesn't work because CP has sophisticated systems in place to work this out when the MVP is awarded.

Hi Pete,
Yes,That is correct
I think those who are creating fack account and giving points to become MVC or any.
they are making fool to themselves.without knowledge they are big absolute zero.
I am contributing as per my experiance and knowledge,Will try to explore the knowlege and contribute excellent helping pages with CP.
Thanks

Threatening to send Mr. Mankini around to have a chat in person with anyone whose profile looks like it was cheated up in manual review isn't what I'd consider sophisticated. Effective perhaps, but seriously declasse.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

There was a spammer in the Lounge and I clicked on the 'Report Spam' option.
It then highlighted green as though it were up voted, although there upvote count was zero.
Not a real issue I know, but when you have 5 mins (ha ha ha) and a spare hamster, take a look.

I don't think this is by design because of what it is helpful for? I have received 3 notifications for the same event of "Someone answered to my question", Looking at the numbers of notification in red, I thought there were 3 new events for me, but in fact, they are only the same event.
Please check out my account and see, this bug is not too nasty to me but I think someone else may feel different, it should be fixed =))

Not as bad as another site used to use which would often give you over 100 notifications for the same event, AND the notifications were in REAL TIME!! With an average rate of 3 events per second, it became overwhelming quickly.

Hi,
In the Spam & Abuse Watch forum, there was a link to a spam article.
I clicked on the link, and I saw this on the page of the article:
This article has not yet been approved for publication by our membership. It should be available soon.
I'm a gold author, so I'm able to moderate/report articles, but why do I get this message?
[EDIT]
I'm sorry, I haven't read this message:
