I ain't a judge. The site admins will take care of your problem. And they will also reactivate your old account if they decide to do so.
I just added my personal opinion. And I personally do not believe that you had near to 3000 points on that account. You have posted only one question and some votes on one article. I suppose this account was just a sock puppet and you are one of the doomed sock puppeteers.

The people you are answering to have no powers to resurrect your account. That must be done by a Code Project staff member - and don't bother pleading with me, I don't work for Code Project either.
Why are the points so important to you though? Is this an ego thing?

If memory serves me correctly, that account was deactivated because of sock-puppet voting, so I guess the points are what matters.
I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

Has anybody done the needful yet?

I've eaten my breakfast and ingested my caffeine for the day, if that's what you mean.
I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

Can you do the needful then?

Yes and many names before that. Just do the needful.

Then please use the Spam & Abuse forum; this is not a site bug.

We used to post this here and I didn't know about the changes.
We already had a discussion about the same. We also deleted the discussion posts in the thread as I wanted to delete the original post. But it didn't allow me.
I have taken a note.

I see if one has the URL, it is open for public view. Is that intended to be or we have a bug?

Would be nice to have a map of the world with Statistics on where CP members come from.

It would be a map of where CP members say they came from - rather than where they actually do come from. Look how many of our members choose USA as their location when it's plainly apparent that they don't.

Pete O'Hanlon wrote: choose USA
I think many members choose USA because it's default setting if you create a new account.
It's also possible that they don't want to tell from where they come (and in that case, many members don't see the "Anonymous proxy" option).

That's true, but it might make them wake up and update it.

I think that Chris should set the default location to "Low Earth Orbit" until they get round to selecting one.

I've posted one article with a lot of code blocks and I've updated it several times.
The creation went well, except for those code blocks.
Whenever I want to type something in the blocks, I click on the location to add the text, but I have to type very fast! If I pause for just 0,5-2 seconds, it jumps back to the beginning of the block. I often had to cut some parts from the start and paste it back where it belongs. If I don't watch the screen, it can also happen that I put a part on the right place, type a part at the start and a part after the start that jumps back to start, what makes an extreme mess... I have to puzzle my whole sentence back again!
I found some more people which had that 'jumping' problem, but it went to end of code block or even to end of article. I'm using the latest version of Mozilla Firefox, haven't tested other browsers, but read they also had it. Any fix for this yet?
