Chris,
There is a related issue. Did you find the sibling threads? Are you storing them separately?

OK, so what you mean is: "What about the subject lines of the responses to the post?"
All fixed.

I think it would be nice if this site contains some left and right padding to the content.
e.g. 10 px should be padding left and same on right, it will be nice while reading and posting questions and answers.

I wonder, is it possible to know if some member is still logged in or not. I ask this because , when I expect answer or comment from somone it seems that he or she, has been disconected, logged out.
Perhaps there should be some kind of notification labbel that shall show, On or Off line status of member. Just like there is notification label when someone post new coment or message to me in upper right corner.
Perhaps when I click on the name of member or float with mouse pointer over, there shuld come up status message.
All the best,

I'm not sure how this would work. I never logoff from CodeProject, but I often hibernate my PC and don't use the internet for hours or even days. So, I'm still logged in but you cannot contact me.
One of these days I'm going to think of a really clever signature.

Perhaps an option available or not when member is logged on.
All the best,

Members don't have the expectation that their offline/online status will be publicised and so my feeling is that introducing this introduces a privacy issue.
It also sets innacurate expectations. I'm usually "on" most of the day, but I'm not answering questions, I'm browsing or reading or working.

Every article has comments like "which flavor", "how does it showcase ultrabook". I have no idea what ultrabook is nor do I want to know what kind of (i'm guessing) competition you're running..
Please make a special category for ultrabook-whatere-you-have-right-now, so we can use codeproject like we used to.

There is a special category for the Ultrabook articles.

Why do category's latest c#, asp.net articles contain mostly ultrabook stuff (no source code, shallow articles,..)?

You could always ask for a discount on your subscription charges.

Heh.. nice try.

I had to give you a fiver for this. IMHO, priceless.

Yeah - I do tend to be annoying when I try and help my members collect a free Ultrabook and their share of 140,000 in prizes. It's a bad habit.
What I'm guessing you mean is: "Chris, I understand you need to judge the comp, but how about you exempt your posts from the stream of comments showing up on the homepage. Each time you review the avalanche of entries it gets a little repetitive."
Sure! I'll see what I can do.

So dramatic, Chris.
Lol.. I wasn't even talking about you explicitly.
What really bothers me is "contest entries" getting into article section..
There is a special section (and subsection) for contest entries, and I'll be filtering them out of the homepage listings.
The comp ends tomorrow. The dust will clear.

I just got a new computer at work so I now have Windows 7 and IE 9. I'm guessing this is just some setting on my part that needs to be changed, but I can't figure out what it is. When I'm in the lounge or anywhere that has a message board, all of the messages are opened up all of the way. I'm used to having to click the headings/subject lines to be able to see the message the whole way. So...any ideas on how I can fix that?

Ha. I JUST noticed the open all layout options....
