Hello,
Its nice to see comment reply notification on the upper right hand side corner, just beside login name. However after marking the notification as "Read", notification still shows "1". When hover on it, an empty panel or div is displayed, which is not appealing to the user. I would like report this as a bug.
Please let me know if this is not an issue.
Thanks & Regards,
Vani Kulkarni

It is working fine in Chrome now. I mean if no notification is there then that red box is not shown.

You implemented notifications! You really did!
Happy, happy, joy, joy!
This may even replace the Lounge as my primary bookmark to reach Code Project. Maybe.

I just noticed a bug. I had 4 messages, clicked the "select all" checkbox, then clicked the button to mark them all as read. It then said "You have no notifications" (BTW, maybe end that in a period?), but the checkbox remained (the checkbox should disappear like the rest of the UI).

It looks like that has been fixed.

And another bug, if the check to the side of the nofification is clicked, it leads to a 404 not found page.

Don't open the link in a new window. Try just clicking it.

So habituated!

That explains and works! Thanks.
Still, opening in tabs directly would help. I don't want to click every notification to get the thread link. That just doubles my click and also is time taking.

OK, I didn't realise you meant that.
They aren't openable in separate tabs. The link just expands the content.
The one thing I was planning on doing was adding a "Go to..." link that would take you to the item in question.

Depends on if you click from the notifications page or the notifications hover element at the top of each page.

Red notification box only shows while we reply to some post. It's chrome.
while with IE it's showing every time.

Hiren.

Yeah, I've seen lots of inconsistencies between the number at the top of the page and the actual number of notifications.
Pretty sure both issues are due to caching.
