Hi guys, in quick answers, each time I post an answer, my name is not shown properly.
I get Mario MajÄica instead of Mario Majčica.
Cheers

I can see the characters correctly. Is the issue still happening for you? If so, what browser are you using?

Surprisingly now seems working fine. However I was using Chrome updated to the latest version.
If it happens again I'll make a screenshot.
Thanks

If you click on 'Community', it still takes you to the Lounge!

Over doing it with the organization.
Their should be three buttons: Lounge, Bugs/Sugs, and QA.
The mere fact that everyone is bitching and complaining is evidence that a cardinal rule of UI design has failed...give the user what they want!

I love generalised comments like that.
So: which particular user?

Me, and I want an Aventador J. Don't google it, as your drooling over it is definitely NSFW.

so do I.
I think that most of us "users" like the key buttons on the green navigation bar. Now, I have no real or accurate data to give you for this assumption. I am clearly pulling this out of my fourth point of contact but that's how I roll.

For the last few days, links to some older messages haven't been working. For example, this link (from my recent messages) does go to the Lounge and I can see the thread it's supposed to belong to, but my message in particular isn't in the view and so obviously can't be expanded as would normally happen.
Another link is this message. I got that link from an email notification of a message somebody posted in reply to one of my older messages. I can't even see the thread that message belongs to.

I've noticed the same thing. It gets annoying quickly.

Having just read a few pages of the "Article Writing" forum, it seems to me it is no longer the right venue to ask a question regarding the suitability of an article idea/proposal in a specific area, like WinForms.
So I posted this on the Windows Forms forum:[^], but would appreciate commentary on: if that is the right forum to post it on.
thanks, Bill

Article Writing would still be the appropriate place to ask questions on the suitability of a particular article. Mind you, both Marc Clifton and I have pitvhed ideas in the Lounge before - you could possibly go that route if you wanted.

The Menu (under Community) refers to "Other Languages" - the side bar list uses "Non-English Language"
They should be consistent, I would suggest that "Other Languages" implies C, C++, C#, etc., given the nature of the site.

Needs two spaces before it (alignment) like all other menu items.

For decreasing the load time of the question answer page. why the solved answer can't be put in arhive column..If somebody wants to search there question they can easily search their solution there.
|
|
|

If you look on the Quick Answers menu list, you will see "Unanswered questions" - this should filter them down a bit for you.
Half the purpose of QA is that the answers should be available, in case somebody might possibly happen to accidentally discover the search facility, and use it.
I know it's unlikely. But it's possible!
