Judging by the votes and statistics it's quite popular with CPians.

Why not? If people like an article and vote for it then who are we to demand its removal?

I dont want to remove it. I ain't even down vote it. As a dutiful member of Codeproject community, I will honor every small contributions. I was just think about the average quality of the articles on this top-notch site.

When i read that article, first came into my mind that it ain't have a quality to be a featured article on Codeproject. I didn't mean to remove or down rate the article. I just wanted to share my thoughts with you(May be you misunderstand me because I posted it in Site Bugs / Suggestions forum). But, you have a good point. So many people like it and naturally it is popular now. In that sense, it is okay. I agree with that 100%

Really? I look at its discussion forum and find it not as popular as it's statistic. Especially the topmost message.
Oxfords English < Official CCC Players Dictionary
Excuse me for my improper grammar and typos.
It's because English is my primary language, not my first language.
My first languages are C# and Java.
VB, ASP, JS, PHP and SQL are my second language.
Indonesian came as my third language.
My fourth language? I'm still creating it, I'll let you know when it's done!

If you look at a number of those messages you will notice they are more about attacking the author and the article subject. Almost none of them offer a reasoned critique of either his article, in terms of structure and detail, or his project, in terms of technique, coding etc. The votes (and there are lots of positive ones) are what count more than the negative comments. And finally, I hold no brief for Sergio, I don't care much for him as a person, but this article has broken no rules that would merit its removal.

Articles are featured based on their score.
In this case some serious sand-bagging was found. And fixed.

Jobless_IN_Melbourne's profile says "Member since Friday, November 18, 2011", but that members first article, Delegates and Events, what are they morons?, says "First Posted 17 Nov 2011". I wish I was impressive enough to have posted an article before I created my account.

The new error page, with the hamsters, is awesome -- just wanted to tell. Still, I hope I won't see it too much.

I hadn't realised that Marc Clifton and John Simmons were the same person. Look at the message titled "aligator / humingbird" in this[^] forum - it says it's for A Coder Interview With Marc Clifton. Now, follow the link and end up in the happy Mr Bluebird Sitting On My Should world of our very own JSOP.

During some socket work I performed a GET on the main page and another on page 1 of this forum. In each case, I notice that the HTTP response headers have a pair of 2 SetCookie statements duplicated. This comes to some 190 odd bytes of information provided twice.
I checked the header sent both before and after a user has logged on. In each case, there's close to 200 bytes of duplicated information.
I've included the request & response headers below:
GET / HTTP/1.0

HTTP/1.1 200 OK

It's a good idea. I went through the list you provided and moved the best of them. In the other cases I emailed the author to begin negotition, discussion, and education. And love.
