Chris,
Is there any way that I can edit my comments in Q&A ?
Or I need to delete previous and add another if I am modifying ?
Or It may be that I am only facing this issue. FYI I am using Chrome 8.0.
I know it's a repost but post was by me only before 10-15 days and as you doesn't have respond because of Christmas Enjoyment.
Thanks.
[Edit]
I've checked for cross browser, it's working for mozilla Firefox but not for Chrome.
Regards,
Hiren.
be good(Help people in CP) ,do good(Vote if one finds helpful) all will happen good, In case happens bad(You are getting downvote for your best try to help OP) it will be good for later after(Countered with more points by humble member). - Gita sar in context of CP.
-So Guys don't care about downvote believe in you.

Yes. Just mouse over the comment & you can see Edit & Delete icons. Screenshot[^]

Yes I know that but after modifying it isn't updating.
Please tell me by testing in browser you're using.

hmm.. Did you made 2 comments for that particular Question/answer? If yes then I think it's already in bug list.

No, I've checked it with mozilla and it's working with it. But not any success with Chrome.

IT's working for me in Chrome. Chrome tends to cache scripts very agressively. Can you try hitting Ctrl+F5 to force a reload of the scripts and then try editing a comment?

I mean after editing comment and pressing OK Button isn't updating comment.
I've tried following already
1) Ctrl+F5
2) Editing comment
3) Pressing 'OK' to update
4) Refreshing page
it isn't modifying comments actually.

Hiren.

I found this[^] fantastic page on Stack Overflow.
CP could consider having something similar.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.
My latest tip/trick

It's an interesting feature but not one we're planning on implementing.

Letting 4.5 million users loose on the database would bring the site to its knees.

What happened to the other 3 million? were they trespassing last night?

I have no idea what happened there (and we all know the truth about user count - grin).

With the new focus on Q&A, shouldn't we have an item My Answers or My Questions as well as the existing My Messages?
|
|
|
|
|
That's a good idea - I often go back to check my answers (to see if the OP has posted an update as a separate answer again) and it is a little annoying having to go "Q&A"..."My Posts"..."Answers" to get to them each time.
Real men don't use instructions. They are only the manufacturers opinion on how to put the thing together.
