That was my point. He should give credit to the person he's quoting, not try to act as if it's his own work.

I just noticed a couple of vites going AWOL in the lounge. I voted on a couple of messages and then hit F5. The votes disappeared.
Are me bad?
[edit]
I voted JSOP below and it worked fine and dandy, tickety boo.

votes don't get synced amongst servers right away, so a page reload will typically show a difference (watch the server number at the bottom of the page, "Web##"). Don't worry, if your material is any good you will get and keep your votes...

I checked and I voted from web24 and the refreshed page was web24 as well.

Strange. I voted your messages 3 and 4, and it worked normally. Using web18 and web19. Well, it is drivel points only here anyway. I'll keep an eye on programming forum vote behavior.

It looks like the refresh is just v e r y s l o w today. I think someone needs to crack the #4 whip.

What I usually do to confirm a vote is go to the profile of the member who posted the message I voted on. The vote has always shown up in their latest messages for me.

Hyperlink colors going wild, e.g. C# forum:
on IE7 all is well
on Chrome, left navigation pane shows mostly purple links
on FF3.6, left navigation pane mostly purple, and several message titles purple too.
is CP running out of black paint?
PS: yeah, I did CTRL/F5 everywhere.

I'm getting the same, FF 3.6.12

Yep, I'm using IE7, and it's fine.

When I said "working", I was referring to the site.

That seems to be the new color for visited links.

Yeah, I was thinking that too. However I don't want a different color for visited forums, as I visit most of them in say a week's time anyway, so it is confusing more than it is informative. The navigation panel didn't do that, it shouldn't start doing so now. And it should be the same on all supported browsers.

Yes correct. But IIRC, this color was always there for the message board's visited hyperlinks. It's the navigation pane which is now showing the same color too which, for the reasons mentioned by you, is not good.

No, that's different. It has an inline style which colors it green. You see my name in Green because I have enclosed it between the HTML font tag and thus it has a higher priority and overrides the general hyperlink color defined in the stylesheet.
I checked IE8 and it was working fine (links in navigation pane was black) until I hit Ctrl+F5. Similar for IE7 compatible mode.
That means there was a CSS update recently.
