Just now: Again the CodeProject home page shows me the old Insider News from weeks ago.

Up until yesterday, I had the overall impression that the members who participated in these forums were good people who enjoyed discussion and treated one another with respect.
To be clear, most members on the forums are great. It's a minority of members who decide to harass, antagonize, and spread hate. I know every forum on the internet deals with these types of people. Sadly, I must say that I've never encountered behavior on this level on any forum that I've ever visited.
I don't want anything deleted, and I don't want anyone to be banned. I want to mute these people. If they're going to spread hatred, let them show the world who they are by how they choose to act.
Is there a way to mute members? If not, then I ask that you refrain from taking any action. When posts are deleted, threads become fragmented and impossible to understand. It's a recipe for confusion and misunderstanding. This only exacerbates conflict and confusion. As awful as their behavior may be, it doesn't meet the threshold by which a member's account is terminated.
Thanks for hearing me out.

You wrote in a comment that if someone sees your name as the sender, they should simply not read your comment.
I recommend you the same: If you see that someone has answered that you want to 'mute', then just skip the answer

Hanging my head in shame.
I reported this member for spam nadoosha - Professional Profile[^] when I did not mean to (Window was open, got a call, got distracted, thought it was a spammer it turns out I had already reported - so wrong)
@sean-ewington - could you remove the spam report please

Hello!
I've noticed following:
1. Open an article directory section, say,
Algorithms[^]
2. Look at the "Great Reads" section. You can see this article here:
Permutations: Fast Implementations and a New Indexing Algorithm allowing Multithreading[^]
3. Scroll down to the "All Articles" section. Make sure they are sorted by score. You can see this article among the first ones (the third at this moment).
4. Sort articles by title. Scroll to the end of the page. You can see now that the last article title starts with "F", so our article starting from "P" is missing and there are no page links to next pages or whatever else to show the rest of the directory.
This testcase has been reproduced on Windows using both Firefox and Chrome.
Hope you find this information useful.

Also reproduced, in Firefox on Win11.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

I thought only the "first time" publications of a month were allowed to be in the monthly contest

The survey system has trouble with articles that are published on the last day of the month and the first day of the next month, and apparently so do I. Fixed.
Thanks,

Both messages of the author of this article[^] show 15 points out of 5.

Or 5, depends on how you look at this - 1 point vs 5 points OR 15 if you are a super-hero.

Hey,
Downloading the Windows version for a temporary Agent DVR setup for work, well. Trying to at least. The website download for Windows has failed 7 times due to network issues. Definitely not my end either.
Anybody know a solution?
Cheers

Can you do a tracert to see where the slowdown is? Do you have any proxies, firewall rules, content blockers like uBlock going on?
cheers

About the revisions...
Hit the "Show minor revisions", this way you will see the whole list.

I agree with @PIEBALDconsult and think also 'do my work' questions are boring/useless.
But I think it's far away from being correct how @PIEBALDconsult edits the questions as he pleases!
Report it as 'Not a question' should be enough...

This is not the first time that this guy changes posts from other users in a probably illegal way.
Should be considered to block such attacks.
