While confirming my understanding in this permalink (http://www.codeproject.com/script/Forums/View.aspx?fid=1645&msg=2583671[^]), accidentally, I missed out one of the closing tags (</tt>) and when I submitted it, the entire layout next to the message was showing up in TT (Teletype) font.
Just thought of letting you know that something similar to Blogger Comment Textarea, a quick XHTML checker for broken (unclosed) XHTML or an implicit close of unclosed tags after the message should address this issue. Isn't it?
P.S.: For the permalink that I mentioned, I have corrected the </TT> myself by using the 'Modify' link.

True. It is also a proven thing that a thief always leaves behind some traces after committing its burglary. The cop can try looking out for it and catch him. Similarly, no matter, howmuchever pain the impersonator takes, it is always true that we can catch him. He can make things difficult but can not escape before the eyes of Law.

I hope your lawyers can shut him down. I'm a member of another board that's had a multiyear problem with a troll who's stopped just short of this. Fairly aggressive moderation's largely kept him out of sight. I've talked to one of the moderators who's said she can ID him consistently after only 1 or 2 posts "oh it's you again, *clickity-ban* buh-bye". Fortunately the pathological personality of a troll results in them being unable to hide themselves for any length of time.

With those next steps, please strip HTML tags out of user names and don't allow it in the future. Validate all existing user names and rename the ones with html tags as "Member<memership no>", like how it would look immediately after registration.
