Wrapping in pre solved the problem, but here is a definite problem with that code stored not encoded...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

Hi,
I just changed my subscription email, for which I could see a notification badge got created in my notification center, but I have not received any confirmation link in my new email address or a confirmation email link at notification center.
Please verify if this is a bug.

I have sent you an email confirmation request. Please let me know if you receive it OK.
Also, please check to see if it is in your spam folder. And if any of these items are an issue:

Thanks Sean. I have received and confirmed to the email that you have sent.
Previous to that I have checked my spam folder and there is no email in spam or any other folder. I just didn't work.

Also for your reference, the notification center as it appears now on my screen, there is a notification badge for email confirmation but here is nothing in it. And even after I have clicked and confirmed your email, it seems like the badge is not going out.

Looks like someone's borrowed Bob's TARDIS:
Even accounting for time-zone changes, how can someone post two comments to a question almost five hours before posting the question?

Strangely, even though it's the "MVP" badge, it seems to be trying to load a "monthly competition" badge.

It has happened to me a couple of times that misscliking to "edit" or "permalink" has ended on me bookmarking an unwanted message.
So I have to go to "my bookmarks" search for that message and delete it there.
Would it be possible have a quick undo bookmark (at least as long as the page is not changed / reloaded)?

I don't see anywhere to thank About Scemis (sp) for the help with my 401 error on anonymous authentication. He was the only correct help I got including the Microsoft IIs forum. I tried a number of programming websites with no results. Thanks so much.

If it was an article, there should be a board below that article. If you write there, the author will get a notification about it. This way, he will know it was useful for you.

I figure you are talking about this:
401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials[^]
1. You can upvote the solution if you like it (hover over the starts on the right side)
2. It is actually a very fishy solution...

Yes. I got the info I needed to fix the 401. I tried the IIS forum on Msoft and got no help. It was this simple. I needed to change the authentication from specific user iusr to application pool. I don't know why that was not the default. That Never came up in any previous server version.

I recently clicked on a link from a email notification for a VB.Net question and when the page showed up there appeared to be no other answers on the page. I posted an answer and a few days later found it had been down voted. What I didn't realize upon the second visit was the other answers were dated before mine.
I finally found out the down vote was because the answer was previously mentioned and not accepted by the person that asked the question.
I'm not sure if it was because of the email link or because I'm a beta tester that no other answers or comments showed up.
