Hey! Saturday night is hamster drinkies... What do you expect?
More seriously, I suspect you've stumbled across a weekly maintenance activity. My guess is the points will show up later.

I have got points for all my inputs since this report, but still nothing for the 2 preceding solutions.

As reported here[^], with a screen-shot.
I suspect the following is the cause of the problem:
<div style="margin-top:-70px">
<div class="forum-action">
...
</div>
</div>
Removing the negative margin restores sanity to the header.

Thanks for that. I knew I'd missed one.
(and there's a long convoluted reason that page doesn't use the usual forum view page that I won't go into at the moment. Mainly because I forgot what that reason was)

I posted a suggestion on an article which was in the queue. Someone posted a reply, but the article was approved before I got to it.
Now I can't see what the reply said.

Emails: No; I keep those turned off.
Notifications: Yes, but it simply tells me there's a reply. I can't see any of the details.

It's too early on a Friday afternoon (ie not beer o'clock yet) for existential questions like this.
I can add a fix, but it's a 3 beer fix.

It's nearly Friday evening here, so I can drink a couple of those for you!

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you

I don't know what these :thing-between-colons: are called but I had a wonder or two.
1) is this a controlled subset of something, or if found somewhere, will other whatever-they-are's work?
2) is there a list of those working on CP?

They're called "emoticons", although all the cool kids seem to call them "emojis" these days.
Aside from the list on the right-hand side of the message textbox, there's a list of known "secret" options here[^].

At least for me there are no notifications (neither on top of the page nor by email). Missing them for two comments posted to one of my QA answers 45 minutes ago.
[EDIT]
Meanhwile I got notifications for one comment. There seems to be a quite large lag:
Received: from CP-WEB3 (cp-web3.codeproject.com [192.168.5.53])
by mail.notifications.codeproject.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id 838B01E0C8A

I don't think it was the mail server because the notifications on top of the page where also delayed (or are those generated / pushed back by the mail server).
BTW: For one comment there was never a notification or a mail until now.
No problem if there is some delay. But missing notifications and more than an hour are not good.

Since a few days, I see that some answers don't get reputation points.
Those answers are "standard" answers for the very common "SQL injection problem".
I have built a standard answer with links for that problem.
BC30516: overload resolution failed because no accessible 'item' accepts this number of arguments.[^]
Is there a new policy that I am not aware of ?
[Update]
or site is really really lagged (half a hour)

An answer from this morning is not listed. It is about MySQL.

[EDIT]
My answer is now listed with a delay of 1.5 hours. See also my above post about delayed notifications.
