It is, but value of an article can depend on the reader.
We have a rating system specifically to allow members to elevate the good stuff and suppress the bad stuff.

Hi.
I've changed my email today and now I waiting for the confirmation email (I've a notification telling me, that I have to do this) since a few hours.
Is it sent out with the daily newsletter mail job or any other "asynchronous" way that it is taking so long?
Thanks,
Manuel

Nope, it has not been there when I wrote this.
But a few Minutes ago it arrived and I was able to confirm it.
So thanks whatever you have done...

Top marks for the new spam method!

Well, as adding a co-author is easy, I doubt it's a sophisticated piece of hacking.

I think we should ban both authors...
But adding someone as co-author all you need is his member number...You need not his acceptance...

That's rather iffy - it should at least send a request to the new co-author. There are a lot of articles / tips here that I'd rather not be associated with in any way!
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

It is NOT your to decide
(Maybe after this case Chris will add such notification feature...)

It does send a request to the co-author.
In this case it looks like we have a bug.

Interestingly, the image is shown when you hover the mouse cursor over a poster's name here in the forums. Even for your name

I am using Google Chrome. Make sure to check the "Profile popups" checkbox in the orange header. It is right below the red "New Discussion" button.

It was definitely by Reputation; all the others from SA down were in the same order as now. But since he has reappeared I must have missed something.

When using the @ facility, the auto-linker messes up and is one character out, leaving the last letter hanging.
e.g. @DaveAuld
Gives @DaveAuldd (I added this extra 'd' here, as it didn't do it in bugs and sugg's, but it does it in the Lounge and on member profile blog message. Haven't tried anywhere else!

This Article[^] apparently still has 0 out of 0 votes even after I gave it a 5.
From the comments on the bottom of the article I think there are a few more votes that aren't showing.
