Pasting an URL to an answer was for me the only way to get a well formated link here for several years now and I "missused" that until now to "Format" my links
[Edit]
And was also always working responsive and like a charm
It does not solve my Problem, but it answers my question

Ability to add a link to an answer has been around for quite a long time, but as far as I can see the behaviour has just changed to much better than what it used to be.
Previously there wasn't a spinning wheel during formatting, browser stopped responding and so on. All these problems seem now to be gone.

Ok. I never faced things like browser stop, it was always responsive. And that even I'm still using IE(11)

This keeps happening to me when I try to edit an unfinished article:
There seems to be a problem
We're not sure what, but we have a few guesses.
Problem: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Ticket: 129523
Server: Web01-2016
Why is this happening, and how do I recover my unfinished article?

Working on it now

I have recently added a new tech blog to my account. However, I've noticed that CodeProject seems to convert the post into an article, which should not happen. Moreover, when I view the list of consumed articles, it does not show up for that blog.
Is this an known issue?

Which article?

Hi I changed my email and have not received an email confirmation so I am no longer getting the newsletters. What should I do?
|
|

One should have been sent when you changed emails. Also, at the top of articles will be the message "Is your email ok?" with a link. I've manually sent a reconfirm email.

Then please feel free to do so. Go to Your Settings[^]. Scroll down to the "Close my account" checkbox and select it. Click the "Save my settings" button, and the task will be complete.

I have clicked save on the article below, twice, I see the spinnner (5-10 seconds) and then nothing new appears in my reading list. However, an article that I saved a while back is still there. Sorry if this is repost.

Also, I just noticed that I have 4 identical entries in my history for bookmarking the article above. I thought the system would only let you bookmark once.
Also, I just noticed that the reading list popup is mostly off the monitor/page, going right, so I only see the first left half of the popup, with no way to see the rest (scroll, etc.).

Can you please paste a screenshot here of the dropdown so I can see what's happening.

You mean you have the same article bookmarked 4 times?

So, I noticed that if I have the red "unread" message number indicator showing there is room for the popup, but if it is gone the popup runs off the page.
Yes, I have 4 bookmark entries for 2 clicks of the "save" button.
What is weird is that yesterday, it saved Marc Clifton's article just fine ("Build a Prototype..."), as you can see in the screen shot, but not the one I mentioned in the OP.
Edit: I also don't see an intuitive way for me to remove the item from the reading list, or is it supposed to automatically remove itself after I "read" the article - I don't know.
This also seems to be happening with the Flag popup on messages, as well. This occurs in the Fluid Layout, and not the Fixed.

The Home page questions list is still occasionally throwing up duplicates:
If you hover over them, or click on them, you get the same URL: C# object oriented programing[^]

It looks like the member posted the question twice, and one of them was closed.

No, both the links went to the same URL.
Different questions would have different QuestionID values in the address.

I've noticed that, from time to time, the embedded images in my article don't show up in the browser window. I have to close and open the browser again to see the images. This would suggest there is a problem in Code Project's web servers.

I cannot see any missing image icons in that article.

I said, "from time to time." It's an intermittent issue.

For me: With Chrome it Looks fine. With IE Images are missing, but are at least displayed after context-menu-show image.
