The one tip (about date parsing): - I wasn't able to edit (that is not my point now), editing it would not have been the right approach IMO anyway; - I wanted to add an alternate (and I did); - I agree the title was fine for the content (both the original and the alternate). All fine so far, however: - it was not a subject I would launch a tip about (rather trivial topic); - it got listed in the "Latest tips" page with its title, immediately followed by my name. The listing is here[^], the relevant tip is currently the fifth on that list. And obviously probably it appears at least once more in the list, when the original author created or edited it. The fifth entry looks like I launched a tip with that subject. Which I would not do, and my point is: I don't want it to look as if I did launch such tip; all I did was offer an alternative that IMO is a much better way of doing (almost) the same (trivial) thing. An analogy: Karl Marx writes his book "Das Kapital", it gets published on the web, and gets listed everywhere as Das Kapital, Karl Marx. Then you attach a book review to it, also on the web, and now it gets listed as: Das Kapital, Chris Maunder. Would you like that? [ADDED] The home page, "tip/tricks" tab, still correctly shows the title and original author; which is fine, but could be because my operation was less than a week after the original got created. When I click a link I go to this CodeProject error page[^]. Here's an example of one of the links from the newsletter: http://www.codeproject.com/Article.aspx?tag=1928097915813829[^] The same problem occurs when I access the newsletter from the newsletter archive at http://www.codeproject.com/script/Mailouts/View.aspx?mlid=7882[^]. Clicking any article link within that newsletter gets me the error page. Any suggestions on how to overcome this? Thus far, I'm puzzled. I've tried this on three difference computers using IE6 (yes I know but it's still mandatory at the agency where I work), IE8, and the latest version of FireFox. Same result on all of them. After I coming back from lunch i tried searching for the same but couldn't find it in "My Posts". The I had to check my browser history to get the link to the post. Now when I click it, my answer is gone. I remember there were couple of more answers given to it. And yes, the answer was relevant and correct to my knowledge. Can anyone explain why it has happened? If not then it could be an issue we've seen after our update last night where the old javascript that powered the comments was being cached.
