We had one but the traffic was minimal so we merged it all into the LAMP[^] forum

ok that makes sense. But i guess there is a typo under the forum heading - shouldn't it be Linux, Apache, Mysql, Php? or may be LAMP, perl, python forum would sound better and people will stop complaining. Smile | :)

Merging Two Accounts

Hi There. Is there any way (or is it planned) to merge two accounts on CodeProject?

I know this does not matter but I think using this technique, CodeProject server will be more than happy if some unused accounts are deleted after their information (or data) is taken to another account one wants to pursue.

Now I am posting this question using an account which I made nearly in my childhood Big Grin | :-D

however I don't know how much this idea will be appreciated.

Hello, I didn't remember that I previously had a Code Project account so I created a new one by mistake. After I noticed you can get an username and the one I use all over Internet wasn't available. Same here. But that is because CP doesn't support it yet, and the OP is a suggestion to add that functionality (Which, in my opinion, will be rather useful)

I suggest to create new, attached and always on top, message: The rules of quick question...
For example:
1) Before you ask a question, search this forum...
2) Title of question must be short and clear... Must includes...
3) Words: "Doesn't work", "I'm getting error", "" are not acceptable without any description.

What you thinking about that?

These ideas and more have been brought up here before in various ways. Not sure if there is much that Hamster Central can do about this. It is mainly up to the community to keep travelers and squatters in line.
