As we have a Lounge for general chat, shouldn't we have a Kitchen for all the cookery entries?
|
|

I was just thinking that: Coder's Cuisine or something, to prove we're not all pizza and Mountain Dew.

Gasp!!! Do you really think Chuck Norris would hang out in a wanky forum called Coder's Cuisine?
I think not!
If we can talk about things like unfritzing a TV and soccer [puke] and cricket [double puke] in the lounge, then a recipe or two fits right in. At least eating is something everyone does, and is totally KSF.
|
|
|
|
|
But with this crowd, I'm a little worried that all the recipes will begin with "Get all the bacon you can find"...
I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

Should'nt bookmarking a message / answer be 1 point? 2 points seem a little high.
After all, a vote is valued at 1 point.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.
My latest tip/trick

Voting is often a casual "why not" thing. Bookmarking means you care more about it than just liking it - you want to refer to it later.

The linkifier seems to be acting strangely.
In The Lounge I was attempting to paste a link to this[^]
I typed 'Susannah York', highlighted it, as I have done many times before, and pasted the link. I got variously:
Susannah York[^]
or
Susannah York[^]

I've tried both pasting and manual linification in IE, FF and Chrome and all worked fine.

All done.
---------
You won't see anything actually happen for a few hours since the procedure does all the calculations behind the scenes then swaps out the new set of scores for the old set, but for all those with questions, complaints, observations, threats of bodily violence, or questions, please be patient and wait until the recalc is done.
Please note that the recalculation will not affect your article count, your message count, the email system, the shade of orange, the number of votes you get, your pet's disposition to you, the flouride in your tap water, sunspot activity or any unusual tidal action.
We're just going through all events that have occurred and calculating the points.
Changes in this final iteration: debator points have been trimmed. I know this is fine tuning a result after the horse has bolted, to mix metaphors, but it's the article authors and question answerers who are the ones who should be stars here. There will be no further adjustment of this.

I've tried three or four times to post an answer to this question:
http://www.codeproject.com/Questions/146694/MS-SQL-CONNECTION.aspx[^]
And they aren't showing up when I go back to the Q/A page, nor when I go back to the question. In the interest of completeness, I'm also not seeing the points for answering the question in my Recent Rep Points list.

But this issue is only to me because I have used HTML Table in my content.
Screenshots Previous Layout[^] & Current Layout[^]. In current layout the profile details went down.
Please make it again working. Thanks.

Is it possible to increase the length for Profile details(About you) & Signature? Mostly HTML Tags takes more characters.
BTW I know already JSOP posted a thread about this one.

Send me the HTML of the table you are posting.
I think there's tons of room to talk about yourself given the space provided. Bio's need to be a reasonable length in order to not swamp the article's they are shown in.

BTW due to recent incident in my life I'm keeping current one(which is very important) in my signature(May be always).
Thanks.
