The list on the Home page of Tips waiting approval has shown Application Certification Failure Reason No. 1[^] since yesterday morning - and since yesterday morning a click on it will take you to "Sorry, this tip/trick has been deleted."
Smack a hamster - they forgot a link!

Could be - but that's one heck of slow cache that takes 24 hours to update!

Interesting - both the direct link from my post above, and the link from the Tips section of the Home page (both of which go to 314334) says "Deleted" - I just checked.

Following your link, I see the tip/trick at "Pending" status.

Sounds like a cache issue (as in Chris expects you to leave him a load).

O.T.
What about my mobile page feedback? Ignoring it for now?

Yes, I'm ignoring it Nish. It may seem like I'm simply snowed under and triaging the important stuff first, but that's merely a thin excuse for my deep down evilness.

When I first read that, I thought you said "my deep down elvishness". That would have been much cooler, but it would have been a bad hobbit to get into.

Funny you should say that. I was just reading DNA Fractal Beginning of Finger Print Detection[^] and read Quote: Example: The first 6 bases of the GenBank sequence
HUMHBB (human beta globin region, chromosome 11) are "gaattc":

I had to check again to see which website I was reading. It certainly had a scary ring to it.

Didn't you worry that someone was trolling?

Hi,
For some time now I do not receive any e-mails anymore if someone replies to one of my messages.
Enabled is:
'Your CodeProject Settings > Forums > Default Post options > Send me an e-mail if someone replies to the message'
What can, what has to be done that I get the e-mails again?
Thank you very much for answer in advance.

Looks like your email is stale. I've had a reconfirm request resent to you. Just click the link to show us you're real and the mails will again flow.
We hate spam. We try very hard to ensure we only send emails to real addresses of members who have opted in and are active.

Hi Chris,
Chris Maunder wrote: Looks like your email is stale. Didn't look 'stale' since I became a member (=Sept. 2009). Don't know what it made 'look stale' now.

But there must be a little bug in your system, since I got replies for more than two years to my messages. Opted?. Yes.
I have written more than 560 messages in the two years. Active. Yes, too.
Thanks again for your help.
Cheers,
Jochen

We define "stale" as an address that hasn't clicked on an article, newsitem or ad in the newsletter. If you aren't subscribed (or read and don't click) then our system will not have seen you click on any links in newsletters and so will think you've left the building.
We'll need to tag links in forum notifications to fix this issue. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
