code to check mobile service provider

the user wants to enter a 10 digit mobile number and find out what mobile service provider does it belong to by checking the first 4 digits of the number . how do i do it ???

Get a list of area codes allocated to each provider.

Solution 1

You can use a list but that will not be possible all the time because users can transport their phone number to a new provider.
