How can I show processing label or image on Winform?

Hi People . I am wondering that how can I show processing label or icon on my Winform Form ? I have created a Login Form that connects to remote DB and check for Authentication . While it is validating user informations it waits like 2-3 seconds because RFC . In that 2-3 seconds I want to show to user "it is processing for Authentication or processing icon on the form". How can I do that? should I use background worker or is there any other way to do that ?
