Visual studio (2012, 2013, 2015) missing setup and deployment templates

Hello All
Today when I tried to add a setup project from Other Project Types templates, It shows me No items found. Then I click on teh Set up and Deployment link, it also shows me no items found.Using (VS 2012,2013,2015)

please help

The "Setup and Deployment templates" are not missing. They were replaced, starting in VS 2012, with InstallShield LE.

As far as I know you can download the template in VS 2013 and 2015.

You can use InstallShield Limited Edition for Visual Studio by Flexera Software.

Besides the above info, you need to make registration to receive InstallShield Limited Edition download link and License. Even though the InstallShield Limited Edition is free, they still need you to license your copy and they will send you the license!

Its now available on Microsoft Visual Studio Market Place.

Download from Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 Installer Projects - Visual Studio Marketplace[^]

Its a classic one which was obsoleted by Microsoft in these version.

Solution 3

There is one more option,

Build application in visual studio 2012 in ANY CPU platform.

1) Open visual Studio 2010.
2) copy those application files from bin\Debug(copy folders also if have).
3) The next step is same as visual studio 2010 setup and deployment process.
