sending mail

in my application i've sent messages successfully using gmail as smtp server in c sharp, then i download free smtp server for sending mails but it didn't work, can anyone tell me how to configure my smtp server to send mails locally from my machine ? any answer will be appreciated, thank you

Have a look at this : A class for sending emails with attachments in C#.
It also allows you to attach files. Hope this helps.
