Hi,
I want to know if MVC 3 Works on Win XP.

Thank you.

Write a MVC3 app, and try it. It doesn't have to be a fancy app, just an app that uses it. The way I got it figured is that if you can install .Net 4.0 on the box, anything you write with VS2010 will work.

Official requirements here:

http://www.asp.net/learn/whitepapers/mvc3-release-notes#software-requirements[^]

The ASP.NET MVC 3 run-time components require the following software:
.NET Framework version 4.

ASP.NET MVC 3 Visual Studio 2010 tools require the following software:
Visual Studio 2010 or Visual Web Developer 2010 Express.

Thank you.
I must add a note: prerequisite for MVC 3 is not directly bound to host OP. As all .NET product it only required certain version of .NET Framework, nothing more.

So, you merely infer the logical chain: (prerequisite for MVC 3 is .NET Framework v.4.0 or later) & (prerequisite for .NET Framework v.4.0 is XP SP3 or later, for other OS products see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee390831.aspx[^]) => MVC 3 requires… right!

You gave the principle source of information anyway... But, well, thanks.
