Will MVC2 application run on MVC3 host server?

I have application wirtten in MVC2. In the host server is installed MVC3 framework. Will my application run in this host server or I need to install also(or maybe instead) MVC2?

Solution 1

You required MVC2 to run application written in MVC2.
You can either upgrade your application from MVC2 to MVC3.

In release notes of MVC3 find topic "Upgrading an ASP.NET MVC 2 Project to ASP.NET MVC 3", you will get an assistance from it.
