iexplorer too much memory ussage (leak)

Hi, iexplorer uses to much memory from my computer close to 60% of Ram.
In plain English can you tell me how do I fix this? Do I have to remove Internet explorer from my computer completly? The problem is so bad I can not even store simple parragraphs anymore. Can you help me solve this problem?
