Helloo Every one I am G sandeep kumar....

Presently I'm doing my graduation final yr in P.V.P Siddhartha....
the thing is that i need some suggestions for doing my mini project...

We hav been asked to do a Mini Project as a part of our curriculum and the last date of submission of abstract is 27th of June 2011. I'm a little well or i can say i hav intermediate skills on following languages
->Java
->PHP
->C
->C++
could any one suggest me some projects related to above mentioned languages or may be any other languages also... please need suggestions

Why don't you code, say, a bin packing algorithm using first Java, then C++ and finally C? You could then report about both development speed and execution performance.

if i get ur mean just need an idea and no special field mentioned so, if u like u can help us in our project!
if u are a really brave people develop an indian speech recogniser as sample.
u should develop an engine first!

Did your university not give you a list in which to choose from?

Here are some suggestions:

1. Clever ads - Looks at the webpage content and displays relevant ads to that website.

2. Object detection - Detect objects moving within videos automatically (MatLab may be needed)

3. Performance with different programming languages

4. Depending on what your department has, you could look into using hardware inputs and incorporating that into your project. My friend is using sensors to study the effects of motions and displaying the results using java. You can do games too with EEG sensors that study your brain wave patterns.

Well, do you have a hobby? Anything not related to programming but where a program or a Web resource could help. Music, arts, crafts? Sports, books, video, collections, playing with children or teaching them? Are you learning yourself — drawing, painting, playing a musical instrument?

Are you frustrated with some software tools you use in your work and would like some tools to improve your performance and make your work less boring and mechanical and more creative?

Think about it. The best software is usually the one done for our own needs or for helping our friends or relatives. Use a chance given by your school to create something you would really enjoy.
