which is the best book for major projects in c or c++? By projects i mean that can strengthen my cv and whatIT companies usually make.
Another question: What kind of projects and in what language should i do in order to make big bucks in it industry?

I'm not sure there is a "best book" that fills your expectations.
Since you want to make loads of money in IT, here is my two-pence worth:
C - Don't bother. C is a niche market, rarely used for major projects nowadays, and you need very good experience to make loads here. You are up against people who have been using it for a very long time, and who know what they are doing.

You might want to consider C# and good .NET skills.

Major projects are just that: major. So they generally have a large team working on them. Unless you have good experience of planning and organizing a large team, it is unlikely that you will get involved in the detail of major projects - expect instead to work on a small defined section of the project.

It's down to experience in the end: Get good experience at a lowish level on smaller projects and work up to larger. As you show you can handle the increases, you can try moving to larger and larger projects.

Language? Impossible to predict. If it wasn't we would all use the same thing...

But don't expect it to be quick: Big bucks means big experience. Or big lies. (Which will get found out, sooner or later)

In my case, I am using SAMS edition
SAMS Teach yourself *** in 21 days. Where *** is the name of the language (C, C++, visual C++, ...)
For me SAMS is the best edition ;)

They are excellent beginners books, but not a path to 'big bucks' on their own.
If you're participating in "major projects", you shouldn't need a book at this point in your programming career. Beyond that, no single book is going to be the "best book". I think that if you have good fundamental programming practices, you should be able to rely on google for your "once-in-a-while" reference material.

Here's an Amazon page featuring books about the fundamentals:

I've found its usually the niche markets that pay the best, but its definitely stiffer competition for the jobs.
