Solution 1

You cannot backup your database to a CSV format.
However, exporting table data to excel is always possible - go through SQL SERVER – 2005 – Export Data From SQL Server 2005 to Microsoft Excel Datasheet[^].

Hi,

You can't change format of sql backup file. You can find here[^] all options that are available for standard SQL Server backup procedure...

If you want to keep your data as CSV you need to use Export Import Wizard[^] and export your data into desired format (csv is only one of many that are available)...
